I feel like for the amount of money I'm re-spending on books I already purchased in print, I should be able to customize my character sheet a bit.
What I'd really like to see is the web displayed character sheet a bit more geared to be used during play. I don't want to hunt for the abilities I have available and what they are. At least give us options on what to display, what layout we want to use, etc.
When I export a character for play, I want more information than just the class ability, it should summarize what it does. The same goes with spells.
Don't worry - there is a MASSIVE overhaul of the character sheet being worked on currently.
The end result will be a significantly better experience for everyone using the character sheets - they will be more functional and look a lot more like the paper character sheets that we're all used to.

Wow. I missed BadEye's preview, but that looks fantastic and I'd play from a straight-up print-out of that. Kudos to the team.
Is there a way we could get a toggle to flip the way the ability scores are displayed (value big, modifier small)? After 35 years of playing D&D, I don't think the modifier large will ever look "right", to me.

"We got this, no problem! I'll take the twenty on the left - you guys handle the one on the right!"🔊
Don't worry about the math, that's just a mock up for the design. It bothered pretty much everyone when it was first showed off.
Thank you stormknight, that looks WAY better.
The main hold-up is because the team are making sure it works fully and consistently across web browser & mobile view.
This does mean that we'll have access to beautiful, functional character sheets on our mobile devices though!

That does look good, but I would like where we could upload a pic of our character that we could click and make big to show others.
This exactly. In the form-fillable PDFs from WotC website we can add in a picture larger than a tiny square.
That being said, this new sheet looks awesome! Can't wait to use it with my characters, when it becomes available.

Here's hoping for a speedy and successful test phase!
