Incapacitated, unlike paralyzed, petrified, stunned, and unconscious does not say "can't move", so when you treat that condition as if it does say that it is the literal definition of the phrase "house-rule" - even if you didn't mean to not be doing only what the condition says to do.
But as far as i know... A paladin level 10 with smite and 2 attacks which can both smites with that great sword and rerolling 1s and 2s... Thats a lot of damage in one round. Spells also goes above 20 damages and 7 players going one after the other by taking advantage of positionning in the initiatives can really blow you up real bad.
Your earlier claims of "my bbeg got wrecked by a mere level 3 spell" and "doing their attacks and normal pattern, they all did pretty much 200 HP in one single round." are both proven to be false by this quoted bit of what you say went down.
Using smites and other spells is a combination of limited-use character abilities not "a mere level 3 spell." It's also not what is implied when you say "normal pattern" because it relies on limited resources, and those run out and are not the every-round go-to actions of a party as a result.
And you are still blaming hypnotic pattern for what the party could have done even without that spell being cast successfully (because, yes, a party willing to blow enough limited resources in a single round can do around 200 damage - that's working as intended, since the assumption is they'll have other stuff to accomplish before replenishing their resources, so they are trading making this encounter easier for making a later encounter more difficult - or even impossible, if they burn too many resources now).
Right, in the video i linked (which i know is like 2 hours long) Mike Mearls specifically says at one point that they were becoming predictable and didnt want to do that. Hence the next book (tome of foes) being a supplement, but I was stating I’d assume that eould mean an adventure would follow as we had two supplements in a row.
Do we know if an adventure is even coming soon? Being less predictable might mean they're going to focus on other things than putting out more adventures at the moment.

It is in the work as Dice Camera Action is about to go on its 4th season and each season follows the adventures of the current set. and Chris Perkins did mention that an adventure is about to go live this year. but we have no idea what it is yet, we just know there is a story coming up this year. Now that said, Chris Perkins seems to have hinted at planescape during Dice Camera Action, but this could of been simply because of tome of foes which would literaly fit the bill.

On that note, I would like to see a wider variety of defensive magic and magic that affects other magic, or even just advice on refluffing the defensive spells and meta-spells that exist.
I'd also like a paragraph or two talking about material components.
More than either of those, though, I want a guide to making different magic systems work in D&D.

Will this ever reach wotc ears ? Otherwise its useless of us asking things curse have no control over like new contents ?
Aside from that i really hope filtering shared content by campaign comes really soon. Cause i want to create a sci-fi fantaisy campaign and literally change races feats and backgrounds around. But my players just have access to everything including phb stuff they shouldnt.
I know its in the work but i really wish it was sooner then later because its really up close to that making sure shared stuff works and that was priority back in beta.

There are members of WOTC who browse the forums, sure. However, I understand the concern. We've not started the thread, nor are forwarding any responses to any WOTC departmental resource.
I would interpret the thread foremost as discussion only.
Just more source books in general. Tired of adventure supplements. Don't get me wrong huge fan of Volos and Xanathars, but they were long overdue.
Same for me. I love the supplement in adventure books butseriously more supplement. I wish there was an achetype for fey touched sorcerers.

I've tried to do a sorcerer yesterday and I was surprised there was no archetype for fey touched sorcerers.
Technically speaking, Wild Magic would cover that, albeit the mechanic might not be in line with everyone's idea...
From the Wild Magic description:
You might have endured exposure to raw magic, perhaps through a planar portal leading to Limbo, the Elemental Planes, or the Far Realm. Perhaps you were blessed by a fey being or marked by a demon.
I've tried to do a sorcerer yesterday and I was surprised there was no archetype for fey touched sorcerers.
If we already had all the stuff we think we want (need!), we'd have very little to look forward to! (And more importantly to Wotc - and DnDBeyond - little reason to spend our money on the less useful/interesting stuff they would have left to publish.)
I can't believe there isn't a Spartan archetype for the fighter class - what are they thinking???
The good news for WoTC is that whatever they publish, we'll still want something different. Roleplayers - one real world, 17* official campaign settings, 2 fully fleshed out 3rd edition worlds under the bed that we never actually played despite them being awesome, and a plan to someday (soontm) re-create Endor but without those blasted ewoks, and yet we will still spend hours crafting our perfect next world to play in! Or Demand that WoTC re-releases an old favourite. We are a funny lot!
5th Edition rules for FerroMancers and Knights Radiant had better be coming soon! After a couple of plays it can go in the attic along with my Wheel of Time D20 System book, that 3 book set about playing a demon or lost soul in the abyss, those White Wolf World of Darkness books that looked cool at the time, and Traveller D20 that I borrowed off a mate and think I still have.....
I'm no longer sure what I hope for in 2018, but I'm fairly sure it will be shiny and new and I will want it.
*Real figure will be announced shortly by someone even nerdier than me. :) Hopefully with a list. :D

Well, Fey sorcerer bloodline is something common in Pathfinder (3.5 didn't had bloodlines). Wild Magic isn't close to what fey sorcerers origin would be. Well you could tell that Pathfinder is not Dnd, but clearly you can see the analogy between pathfinder bloodlines and sorcerers origin. So I guess I have to wait for the dnd beyond update so I can create my own subclass or wait years for Wizards to do it considering the speed the put new thing on.

A Fey sorcerer's origin would probably depend greatly on the particular fey involved, the weather at the time, what colour shoe he/she/it was wearing on his/her/its foot/hand/head/wherever and what he/she/it/they/the forest had for breakfast.
Trying to apply your logic to the fey is not going to cut the bread you were born with on a frying hard place in time.
"Wild Magic isn't close to what fey sorcerers origin would be.." you probably meant "Wild Magic isn't close to the powers I would like to have for my fey sorcerer's origin."
Edit : As for Pathfinder having a fey origin so 5th Edition should.......: if that is the route WoTC are taking, that of following the road already scouted by Pathfinder, then I would rather jump off this wagon now.
"Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its continuing mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before." I think that sums it up for me.
@The_Plundered_Tombs , the tread is "What would you like to see from 5e in 2018?"
Well, I like to see a Fey sorcerers origin. And I like to see the Nixie.
What I really wanted to do was not a player character, but a NPC , a Nixie lvl 6 sorceress. A fey sorcerer would naturally have a fey origin with like you said, fey powers, like in pathfinder, that is also a great RPG.
The Nixie does not exists yet in DD5 (was in the DD3.5 first monster manual), So I created my personal homebrew Nixie, then because there is no Fey sorcerer origin yet, I have to create one too, but because dndbeyond does not have the possibility to create subclasses yet I can't. I will use Wild magic origin, even if it is not really what I want, because I don't have a choice on dndbeyond yet.
But if wizards makes an official Nixie in 2018 and an official fey sorcerers origin, then tadaaa, just a few clicks, copy paste and done. So I wish for it in 2018.

What would a fey sorcerer be like, if you don't mind me asking? I mean, we have fey-themed bards, druids, paladins, clerics, rangers and warlocks; arguably, the bladesinger, eldritch knight and arcane archer are designed with high elves in mind, so kinda fey-ish? So, arcane fey, nature fey, or enchanter fey?

I trust Wizards would do a great fey sorcerer.
If I were to do it myself, I would do something like the Draconic Bloodline, you'll get some aspects of the fey you're linked to and some druidic powers and spells, and power like Empathy with nature, amphibious aspect for Nixie, Nereid and Siren, Fey Charm for Dryad and Nymph, Stealth bonus for Satyr descendant etc...
Will check the other classes you mentioned, could have what I'm looking for there.

No he really meant that wild magic is chaotic uncontrolled energies, if you really really think feys magic is uncontrolled, then you are very very very far from the truth or simply was raised with the wrong fey to begin with. Fey magic is natural, i have yet to see any natural affinity sorcerer except storm. Fey are druid like creatures with affinity to whatever nature based region they have live in. but all in all, invisibility, charms and uneartly things is their very definition. this is not at all the definition of wild magic.
it would be like saying a succubus definition is literally uncontrolled raging ugly beast . that would be very very very far from the origins of succubus. if anything, wild magic is cool for those who want to be random, but honestly wild magic just sucks badly. Much like the redemption paladin, i think it was made for the lols and not for the gameplay. i mean, you really wanna cast a spell and then become a plant out of nowhere and lose your life on the spot ?
as for me, the closest thing i have used to create a sorcerer fey origin is the warlock fey patron. but i wouldn't put it directly into a sorcerer, i'd change it a bit, because you just don't want a copy paste of another class. but i'd say the warlock patron is pretty god damn close to what a fey origin would be.
