For backstory reasons, l want to remove a starting language from my character (Common to be spesific). I was able to add a language, but l couldn't figure out how to remove one, so l came here. (No, l won't make a custom race with the language removed. Not unless absolutely necessary)
If you're referring to removing a language on a character sheet here on DND Beyond, then pangurjan is technically correct. I don't believe that you can remove one per se.
However, if you activate the Customize Your Origin setting under the Optional Features section, you should be able to swap out one of the default languages that the race would normally provide for another one. For example, you can select the elven race and remove the Common language for a different starting language.
Edit: Actually, I was just playing around with the functionality, and it looks like you can just switch Common to the Select a Language option, which will leave it blank. Using the above language example, the elf option could just select one language (such as Elven) and leave the other blank. So, it looks like you can theoretically "remove" a language.
I know this is not what you’re looking for, but please, please clear it with your group before playing a character who cannot speak Common. In my experience, it can really make for a time-wasting, spotlight-hogging character, so make sure everyone is ready to handle it right.

l plan to. If they have a problem with it (and or none of the other PC's can speak my one language) then i'll either not use the character, or edit their backstory to add some way of them learning it. (FYI, The Character in question is a lizardfolk ranger (who's only been away from their tribe 6 months, and haven't really interacted with other races), so i'm planning on making my 6th level language common. (or maybe just makeing it my first level language, it's free at the moment. Just need a good in game reason.))

He's a ranger, using the original Favored Enemy feature that grants languages and other soft/ribbon bonuses instead of the absolutely terrible Tasha's combat bonus Favored Foe thing. He's saying he may take Common as his first-level Favored Enemy language, or wait until he gets a second such language at 6th level.

You can't.
Want to start playing but don't have anyone to play with? You can try these options: [link].
That sucks.

That's actually a very useful workaround for the annoying language issue, at least for official species. Good thinking, Javier. Thanks for the trick.
