Okay serious question, are you the writer of 1hp club? The comic on WEBTOON?
also I too am looking into it, and it doesn’t appear to exist, though I do believe half blood should exist and if that’s the case I’m sure you can integrate goblin into it, otherwise I’m not sure. And if not, Tasha’s book has the goblin race, and you can mix a human and goblin from that to make the half goblin
-p.s. if you are the writer, release more chapterssssssss
I was thinking of a character who is half goblin. They look mostly human, but you can tell they arent quite human.
Lets not say how a goblin would have a kid with a human, only that they did via not so nice means.
Can goblins actually have kids with humans though and is a half goblin even a thing in any of the books? If so can you point me to it so that I can buy the race.
Thanks
IMO I've never liked the concept of interbreeding with humans. I can sort of understand why it would happen with a Half Elf, but nothing from a Half-orc or Half Ogre makes me believe those are consensual. I also get the half dragon bornes, since Dragons can take human form. I mean there aren't any "half' Gnomes, Haflings or Dwarves running around. I'd like to think that Goblins, are far too much of a monstrocity to mate with humans. No matter how much BG3 makes them look like short green people with sharp teeth. But hey almost all of the Norse Gods mated with Giantesses in the begining.
At the end of the day, interbreeding like this is a speculative fiction staple, so it's not going anywhere, and how "believable" the pairings are depends on way too many factors that can't and shouldn't be hard codified in a manual.

And really aren't things that should be examined too closely in a setting where a skeleton can get up and walk around after losing all its fleshy parts, you can have a conversation with a sentient gust of wind, and there are insects the size of houses.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
My homebrew world has gnoblins - half gnome, half goblin. You take the worst of bot races, the malicious intelligence of the goblins and the systematic ingenuity of the gnomes, add the slight craziness of both, and you get the gnoblin: A mad scientist with a mean streak. Everyone is thankful that they're a mostly theoretical crossbreed. They can, but generally don't want to.
A lot of races are mostly for NPC's in my games. This one is almost exclusively for PC's. Not that anyone has ever asked to play one, hence theoretical =)
I guess I should make a gnoblin villain at some point. Maybe a gentleman assassin or batman cat burglar or something.

Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.

If I ever play in one of your campaigns I call dibs on playing a gnoblin.
