Because Yuan-Ti are above all not Barbarians and their stat spread is completely not suitable for the two classes? If I wanted to go B/M I would say Lizardmen, for the same reason as why you would go Yuan-Ti.
Not as weird as you might think. Metamagic with 50 different spells can be a great thing, especially with order of scribes and wild magic for extra chaos.
I played a Kenny wild magic barbarian. It's unnerving to have someone wailing on you while yelling things in your own voice, or that of a child. Mine was broad shouldered, and ended up being nicknamed 'The Dark Rooster' and\or 'Shadowcock'.
Alton Tealeaf the Rock Gnome Barbarian Hexblade who doesn't so much have anger problems, nor a patron, so much as a clockwork iron man costume which is how he tanks damage and summons his weapon. He was a Cloistered Scholar until he used his Gnarmor and Gnhammer to escape.
For the emo out there, a Drow cleric of Pelor. You'd have to hate yourself pretty hardcore to be all about summoning in the sunlight which burns your own eyes.
For the old school out there, a Dwarven Wizard. Just because once upon a time it wasn't a thing, at all, for very clear reasons, and now it's possible, but I've still never seen it done (for obvious reasons).
For those who like playing on Hard Mode, a "Rock" (tinker) Gnome Devotion Paladin / Assassin Rogue. Good luck with that oath, and with actually being effective in combat with that incredible MAD (multiple attribute dependency) you've got going on there, with a race which doesn't help AT ALL.
The second time I replied as my first reply got weirdly messed up spelling.
Reading your idea made me think of this:
Drow Redemption Paladin with Pelor as their deity.
Now I want to play that.

Kenku Eloquence Bard
as for Class combinations: A berserker/peace cleric maybe
Abserd 1 level 8n 3very class, on my server someone is using the same idea.
I am playing all the classes as a human
I can see it. "WHY CAN'T YOU ALL JUST CHILL THE F*** OUT?!?!"
Harsh thine mellow in sacrifice for the Greater Mellow.
Reminds me of the UA way of mercy's "Rage of Tranquility"
My homebrew content: Monsters, subclasses, Magic items, Feats, spells, races, backgrounds
At first I was confused, but this is hilarious
Yuan-Ti Monk-Barbarian, because it just doesn't make sense.
Really? If you were ever going to have a monk-barbarian make sense, it would be a Yuan-Ti. Snake-rage is a cold rage.
Because Yuan-Ti are above all not Barbarians and their stat spread is completely not suitable for the two classes? If I wanted to go B/M I would say Lizardmen, for the same reason as why you would go Yuan-Ti.
I mean if you wanted it to make sense emotionally/conceptually.
Well yes? Lizardfolk are described as even more alien and cold than Yuan-Ti.
Kenku Barbarian.
Their rage is basically just voice clips from “Skyrim”.
”NEVER SHOULD HAVE COME HERE!”
