Because i've never seen anyone who would actually play them or rather integrate them apart from them looking stylish or describing the linage of the character.
I can't imagine how you would sleep in a normal bed without having these things tearing through the pillow and maybe even the mattress. How do you put on clothes, like a simple shirt with horns in the way?
Am i just overthinking things or are they some explanations or maybe homebrew rules?
As there are no rules for sleeping on a pillow or putting on clothing like a shirt for other races I don’t think there is a need for those with horns. Just like there are no rules (that I know of) for how frequently you need to use the bathroom. It’s just not necessary and figure Tieflings would have worked this stuff out. So just normal part of being alive.
It seems to be up to the individual really. I have played mostly tieflings in my five years of playing and I ‘play’ my PC’s horns about as much as I feel is appropriate. There was one tiefling ranger I played that had horns that were little more than stumps. They never got more than a mention at introduction. On the other hand, I had a fiend warlock that had horns so obstructive and elaborate (my portrait for her was Lilith from Diablo), that they often were given moments to shine. Try finding a hat with horns like that!
As for bed, I think some people with problematic horns would learn to adapt in some way, such as horn socks or something. Wide horns probably wouldn’t see much movement at all since the head would essentially be locked down.
LOL I had this idea in my head of a golf bag. The golf club headcovers always looked like socks to me. :P
Crocheted by Grandma Tiefling from different leftover yarns in hideously combined, screaming colors. Or pastel colors, with animal patterns. There might be a whole industry out there...

You're totally overthinking it, but there's nothing wrong with that. :)
They're cosmetic, just like the tails, so you don't need special rules for them. My Tiefling monk does a lot of head butts and tail sweeps, but they're just unarmed attacks.
As for things like clothes, remember that they don't have modern stretch fabrics, so everything is looser, and closed with laces. (If you're fancy, maybe you have buttons, though buttonholes are a newer tech than one might think.)
As for sleeping, the horns are hard, but presumably not sharp, so I don't think you're going to tear up your bedding. Most Tieflings are going to have to sleep on their backs, with narrow pillows to support their heads, but the primary effect is likely that they snore more than average. Then again, the tails will get in the way of sleeping like that, so I have no idea how they sleep. Presumably this is why Warlock is such a popular class among them; you can get Aspect of the Moon and stop worrying about it.
I'm not a fan of D&D 4th or 5th Edition rending of Tiefling appearance with huge buffalo or goat-like horns. I always prefered Tony DiTerlizzi's Planescape version displayed during AD&D 2nd Edition that were more subtle and the ones i play usually ranger smaller.
How do you play with the Tieflings horns?

Homebrew: Magic items - Spells - Monsters
I'd say it depends on the form of the horns if they'd pose a problem or not.
Example A: These horns might most likely pose no problem, they go up and the tips also go upwards.
Example B: Now these might pose a problem, I like to imagine Ruby (my Tiefling OC in the pic) puts wine corks over his horn tips xD
Again depending on the forms I'd say they just go with button shirts, or shirts with very big necklines.
But that's just what I imagine my Tieflings would do, in the end I think it just goes down to headcanons. =)

I feel like considering they're integrated into your body that they must have come up with solutions long ago.

I was going for rolled up sturdy wool blankets in place of down filled pillows, but now i vote for horn socks. (And yes, you're overthinking.)

My personal favorite horn style for my tiefling characters is horns like a black wildebeest:
That way, my character can hang stuff off them.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
