I don't know/think we'll get an official answer until it actually happens. A Planescape supporting book dropped onto DDB with no pre-fanfare, as have other stuff. It's just how they roll these days, I guess.
That said, they've been saying Planescapes lack of actual guidance to the Planes will be addressed in a bunch of DMsGuild content. It'd be weird to roll out your big tentpole slipcase book set, and not further support the setting on your tentpole digital toolkit site.

The Nine Hells are included in Planescape, so It isn't off topic. If anything, that is more of a reason to see it here. It feels like that is done intentionally so you do end up buying it elsewhere and then coming back to Dnd Beyond for ease of access. I am not a fan of it, as it feels dishonest.

Like I said it's unclear. I know additional content for Planescape was promised but I don't remember if it was said via DDB and/or DM's Guild. Honestly I'd either want it in PDF and homebrew it as I really enjoy reading the Planescape setting (or rather the original, I'm a little meh on this iteration, largely because of it's narrow focus on Sigil and the Outlands as opposed to the original that included an actual Guide to the Planes not a "we'll get to that" promise) and I enjoy reading off of PDF readers more so than I do reading off DDB.
EDIT: Also, how did you come to know about Chains of Asmodeus? It looks cool and wasn't on my radar at all until your OP.

I saw it on Enworld (a tabletop rpg forum that has been around for awhile, if you aren't familiar).
I feel like I saw somewhere that they were planning to give more general lore of the Planes themselves in the new DMG, but I could be misremembering.
I'd be very surprised if the new DMG gives the Planes any greater treatment than they already have in the current DMG, though maybe inform them with something like the regional effects tables they have in Tasha's. I know there's going to be planar specific products to guide Planescapers somewhere besides the Sigil "hub", I just forget whether it was DMsGuild or DDB and just not that invested at this point in this version of planescape to review the hype videos.

Hey, Planescape is definitely available on Beyond. That would be pretty unacceptable if it wasn't available week's after release and people paid money for it.
This is one adventure that comes jam pack and has really picked my interest. Sadly they won’t say nothing until it is finally released but hey I’ll wait till then.
There’s a few other books that only show up on DM Guild that I also want to see here in DDB but again we will have to wait till it happens.
That aside the redesign for Asmodeus in the cover art is just amazing.
Can any Dnd Beyond employee confirm if this is coming to the site?
https://www.dmsguild.com/product/457996/Chains-of-Asmodeus
The majority of the other extra life materials have been made available and I would prefer not to purchase this twice.
Intriguing title, but when I click the link you posted, I'm getting:
We're sorry...
This title is not available.
At the moment, this one is working: https://www.dmsguild.com/product/457996/Chains-of-Asmodeus
Thank you

Thanks, yeah, I'm familiar with Enworld, but never really got into it.

The prologue and preview information was released, the book is a sequel to Baldur's Gate 3 & Descent into Avernus. We have to have this.
Is this product considered an official WotC product or is it third party?
Let the Mists surround you...
It is officially released by WOTC but worked on by an outside team, like Princes of the Apocalypse.

This sounds awesome, fingers crossed it comes to DDB.
Dear Dnd Beyond,
Can you at least say if you are considering these additions?
I don’t think a website can say anything, at least not on its own initiative.
No, they won’t, they never do. They won’t say anything until it’s officially announced (if it ever is).
Creating Epic Boons on DDB
DDB Buyers' Guide
Hardcovers, DDB & You

I don't understand that, many of us have put a lot of money into this platform, and we can't even get a maybe we will include this?
How about a "This is what we are working on"? Adam Bradford used to do it before WOTC purchased dndbeyond. I don't think this is an unreasonable ask.
