If the Apocalypse happens, let's just say that it was a global blackout and all electronic equipment will never work again, and you are given one spell that you can cast At-will without needing to have any costly material components. It's basically a superpower. The Wish spell and the True Polymorph spells are not available to be chosen.
What spell would you choose and why?
You can also only cast the spell at its lowest level.
It's even better than that. The servants created by the spell can do any task a human can do, except for combat.
And nothing in the spell's description says that you can't create a forge or alchemy lab in the mansion. As long as you bring in raw materials from the outside, you can have the servants make basically anything you might need..

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

Magnificent Mansion
Food, shelter, and safety.
She/Her Player and Dungeon Master
perfect choice. and if you can cast it at-will, you can house and feed arbitrary numbers of people.
It's a good choice. Mighty Fortress is a similar choice. (Less safe, but creates actual fortifications.)
Mass Heal, Teleport, and True Resurrection are the other ones that stood out in the high-level spells.
Create food and water and even goodberry have their appeal, even if they're less spectacular.
Not many better choices considering the scenario. Spells that heal/cure run a close second.
Offensive combat spells are only good for taking other people's stuff or stop people from taking your stuff. Not really a long range plan.

I was thinking Tasha's Bubbling Cauldron as it allows for healing, attacks, defense, and utility for yourself and several other people.
Planeshift. They're having an apocalypse in this one. Why stay?
