I would love to see the Inquisitive Rogue again. It's a great option for urban- based campaigns which i have a lot of affection for, and it's a great option for rogues that aren't inherently chaotic or evil.
I actually Homebrewed a version of the Twilight Cleric for 2024 in case it was not going to be updated anytime soon. Looking at how the 2014 versions of the current 2024 subclasses were updated, I broke down the Subclass, and rebuilt it following the same 2024 pattern.
Fingers crossed one of these becomes official in the near future :)
Cheers!

Breathe, dragons; sing of the First World, forged out of chaos and painted with beauty. Sing of Bahamut, the Platinum, molding the shape of the mountains and rivers; Sing too of Chromatic Tiamat, painting all over the infinite canvas. Partnered, they woke in the darkness; partnered, they labored in acts of creation.
Varen: I wish I could meet the most powerful being in this universe.
DM: A large, powerful beam of light shines down from the sky with overwhelming brilliance and a booming roar. So bright and luminous, it causes everyone to cover their eyes in response. Suddenly everything falls silent and out of the light steps the Supreme Being... me. "Hello, Varen. I'm the Dungeon Master."
Shepherd Druid. I don't really play druids myself, but right now, it's got completely unusable features RAW in 2024 rules because no summon spells use hit dice.
Easy fix on the side of players and DMs is to assign the Summon spells HD equal to the level of the spell as it's cast to get something at least, but that isn't RAW.
Shepherd Druid shouldn't have been treated as acceptable cannon fodder for 2024 RAW.
Give them features that SPECIFICALLY lets them do the equivalent of the 2014 Conjure spells.
I disagree with giving them those features because mass summoning is specifically something D&D is trying to get away from. We don't need 16 empowered, magical badgers thrown at a small horde of undead. Takes too long per turn. Shepherd Druid was just a casualty of updated design and should instead get cool features that are in line with 2024 game design.

& I dislike the Summon spells because they lead to design elements I don't like.
To each their own.
WAIT...
Give them ALL the Summon spells as their gimmick. MIGHT be a good middle ground

My point has nothing to do with personal preference behind design choice. It's that WotC is moving in a direction and your idea goes against that. See not only the Conjure spells but also the summoning horn from the DMG.

So, since a lot of 2014 subclasses are beeing released in UA for their 2024 rework. What are your wishes? What subclasses do you want to see next?
I would love to see the storm sorcery reworked.

Greetings NoctXPyre,
For me, Id love to see the Circle of Spores Druid as well as the Twilight Domain Cleric.

Uhh, Inquisitive is so flavourful and is nice to roleplay. That would be neat indeed.
True, Circle of Spores makes such a good edgy druid. Twilight Cleric was strong already, hope they don't nerf it down.
