I have some concerns about how homebrew content is going to be implemented. What do you think?
In the podcast, Badeye said there was going to be a moderation process for public homebrew. Will private homebrew have to go through this too?
Is there going to be any option for public homebrew creators to be paid for their work? If I'm selling some monsters I made up on DM's Guild, for example, would I be able to sell access to them on DDB, or are sales on DDB limited to only official WOTC books? Would the answer be any different if I'm selling those monsters under the OGL?
The biggest issue is that DMs Guild is part of WotC/drivethru while dnd beyond is WotC/Curse. Basically there won't likely be any connection until drive thru and curse have an agreement with each other. Which is likely not going to happen. A lot depends on the agreement WotC has with both companies as well as other factors.
My impression was the moderation process was simply to filter for inappropriate material.
Yes, though the definition of "inappropriate" for public homebrew will be fairly well defined and strong guidelines given to the moderators. BadEye has said that one of the goals is for all public homebrew to be of a high quality, so you can expect that any submissions will need to be well designed and written.

Very true - we shall have to wait and see, although there have been some ideas hinted at already, such as here where BadEye says, "I might even say that we will use a concept like this to allow folks on the DMs Guild to share their content via a URL in such a manner down the road..."
From what I have read, the homebrew moderation is only for public content and public content is only available to subscribers who pay a monthly fee.
Details over exactly what is and isn't available in each tier will be shared later in the beta. BadEye has previously confirmed that a subscription will be needed to SUBMIT public homebrew content, but I'm not sure if the same is true for accessing. Info will be available fairly soon. :)

It would be nice if they somehow linked up with the DMs Guild for the payment options to support content creators.
