It's an 8-bit stylized animated wizard if you open the image in a new tab/window. I don't know if that means anything. Do I need to break out the corkboards, thumbtacks, and photographs of various individuals and cover the room in a webwork of yarn?
This means something!
EDIT: It also affects the graphics in the menus, not just the text. Trippy!
Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.
How do I keep the wizard and the party status going? Every time I do anything, I have to click that blank spot to make it appear and cast its spell. Is there a check box for party mode somewhere? 😁

BUT! I also have the Critcal Role Vote for Liam/Sam pins on my character's frame... it was also flashing as a rainbow while Party Time Wizard was active!
Gotta love things like this getting done, when they can't get standard baseline things like inventory management done.
You can manage character inventories.
If you were talking about something complicated like containers, vehicle/companion inventories, shared party inventories, item transfers, or DM pre generated loot. Those things take way more involvement than a single person coding a little Easter egg in their free time.

This was actually a result of them testing some code changes for a future feature and the Devs liked it so they left it in. You shouldn't be quick to judge; often major, key features are tested in this way. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some dev easter egg tucked away for testing inventory management.
I haven't turned him off since they made him toggle-able. (Originally, he'd turn off with each page load.)
Be sure to bask in the glory that is BadEye (Adam Bradford), the party wizard, by opening the Media menu and hovering over Dev Updates.

I noticed something today, and I thought it was odd.
When I hovered my cursor a little bit to the right of the New Player Guide, a little thing popped up, saying "It's Party Time!"
When I clicked on it, a little rainbow wizard gif popped up. Am I the only one who's noticed this?
Aaand I just realized that the the text for selecting things from the menu goes rainbow when I hover over it too.
Am I crazy?
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
So, it looks like the text only goes rainbow when the party time wizard is there, clicking the wizard again makes it go away.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
I can't do this on mobile, but for desktop I see it. Neat little Easter egg, I think.
Cute! Thanks for sharing the discovery with everyone.

Oh, man. It should *always* be party time.
I just had this tonight as well!
Yep, came to the forums just now to see whether anybody else had found this! After stumbling upon it myself only a minute ago.
It's always party time somewhere in the world and wizards can teleport!

To anyone who wants to know, the Party time wizard teleported more to the right (under your username). That's just for now though *dated Apr 2020

That actually looks pretty cool as an Easter Egg! This Wizard should be the next Internet Meme! 🤣🤣🤣
How do you open the Wizard? The quarantine resources is to the right of the New Players Guide now
