So i'm trying to make a homebrew flinds flail with the built in homebrew Creator. I was curious if anyone knew any way to make a weapon have multiple different attack options once wielded/attuned to. Also, some of the flinds attacks have saving throws associated with them, any way to implement that besides putting it all as part of notes? My only idea so far was to make custom spells and attach them to the flail. As said in the title, adding a "Melee Weapon Attack" doesn't work for me, but maybe i'm missing something, and as far as i can tell there's no way to add a saving throw to it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and Apologies if i'm missing something obvious
What you would need is a way to add custom actions to it, and that is not possible at the moment (items were coded before custom actions and they haven't gone back and added them since).
About the only thing you can do for now is put all that stuff in the item's description.
You can put it all in the items description or make custom attacks. At the topright there's a button that says "manage custom" and you can individually make custom attacks that way, with unique saves/dmg/etc. That'd be the best way to do it IMO.
