I'm wondering if anybody has a current list of official spells that are found on the wizard spell list but not the sorcerer spell list, and vice versa. I'm not sure if there's a way to do so on D&D Beyond presently aside form just doing a side-by-side comparison on the spells page.
I don't think you can filter any of the spell lists like that so a side by side comparison may be the only way to go.
Doing a quick once over of PHB and some UA/free material related spells the only "on the wizard spell list but not a Sorcerer" appear to be (from lowest level to highest):
You can not do it on D&D beyond, but there are several web sites that have good filters to list them. The list above is not complete. Among others, it misses Toll The Dead, Find Familiar and Identify, all three key spells for a Wizard.
Sorcerer but not wizard is much less common, here are all I could find:
Unfortunately there's no way on DnD:B to enter those search parameters. However, if you expand any given spell to show some details, there are always tags attached at the bottom of the description. These will give you the list of all spellcasting classes that do have the spell, even going as far as specifying subclasses that do where the main class does not. It makes it tedious, but doable.
Wow, thanks so much. I'm trying to work out a pattern here. Looks like sorcerers don't get most conjurations, and many spells that interact with other planes. I'm a bit surprised about the {sorcerer}\{wizard} list though, aside from chaos bolt.

Grease, Arcane Lock, Nystul's Magical Aura, Rope Trick, Wall of Sand, Fabricate, Leomunds Secret Chest, Mordenkainens Faithful Hound, Mordenkainens Private Sanctum, Otiluke's Resilient Sphere, Phantasmal Killer, Bigbys Hand, Wall of Force, Contingency, Magic Jar, Otiluke's Freezing Sphere, Wall of Ice, Sequester, SImulacrum, Clone, Maze, Telepathy, Prismatic Wall and Wierd.
I think the only "On the Socerer list but not Wizard" spell maybe Chaos Bolt from Xanathars Guide to Everything.
