Okay so I was watching Davvy Chappy's YouTube video on Kenku, and I had a silly character concept that CLEARLY HAS NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE: A kenku, named Kenku, and all they can only say is "AHH," and "Kenku". Because that's all anyone ever says when they see them.

You missed "What in blazes are you?" (insert is appropriate for your table in place of 'in blazes' )
Well played dear replier. Well. Played. *slowly holds up a knife*
I dont think playing a pseudo homicidal clown gnome, with daddy issues, that goes around beating people to death with Robin Williams's skull attached to his spine, while "I'm a little teapot" counts. Good effort though.

I am Groot !
Of course it doesn't! It's not funny, it's depressingly morbid!
For silly characters, I can't get away from 3 repeatable-quest-giving NPCs becoming PCs while still being NPCs in the setting of the world (which is an MMO). One of the 3 quest givers is fully aware of the game but got demoted to a level 1 wizard (once being an all-powerful sorcerer for providing end-game content - now unable to provide quests). The other two get easily confused when videogame logic doesn't seem to work in a 5e setting, especially with a DM who keeps track of everything that everyone is doing in a steadily-moving-forward timeline that has no repeatable questing.
The two low-level quest givers in the group recently lost their exclamation marks above their heads when they failed to maintain their promised tasks while spending 5 days adventuring to get back their missing store inventories - their respective shops closed, ending their ability of to give their catalogue sidequests.
"Well. F********************k," came from the first one who found his store condemned and closed for failure to upkeep. The second one made some incomprehensible noises of disbelief to find all his remaining possessions and store repossessed in payment for failing to provide the armor he promised to be ready four days prior.

Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.
I heard on another one of these threads the idea that with a barbarian's reckless attack, you could gain advantage and thus a rogue's SNEAK ATTACK bonus every turn. I have now spent multiple days trying to imagine optimizing such a broken build with conflicting goals. It will be a bounty hunter, because bounty hunters are cool and a rougebarian would be a fine bounty hunter combo.
TL;DR: I am optimizing a roguebarian. That qualifies me for nerd-sainthood.
Fallen Aasimar, Oathbreaker Paladin with a +1 Greatsword of Flame = D&D Darth Vader.
Human Variant Great Weapon Master - Battlemaster with a GS that has Leprosy - You're an ex Paladin that didn't like the direction his God/Church was pointing him so he literally forcefully severed all ties with his god (Dropping him to a level 1 fighter) out of anger the god gave him "divine leprosy" thats slowly killing him. Play him as Either Chaotic Good or True Neutral. You and DM can either give him DND version of Leprosy or just say he has "Role-Players Leprosy".
First level fighter (for proficencies) Warforged after that go wizard. Go defensive fighting style for +1 AC. And get Chainmail + S&B. Level 1 means you got 20 AC. level 2 onward you go wizard and at level 5 you get warcaster. Wizard spells you take are presdigitation/Shield and all the defensive/movement spells + fireball and the super major wizard spells. You play yourself like a coward thats just looking to pile more and more defensive gear/spells to become a giant slab of magic metal so you can feel "safe". Pres. is for cleaning things cuz "you just don't know where this stuff has been". Call yourself Mistar Kleene and have fun. BTW this means at level 2 as a reaction you have 25 AC.
Bardbarian - race up to you. You either dedicate yourself whoefully to Dex barian or go Dex/Con/Charisma as your primary 3 stats. You are always naked and turn your Greataxe into a "Great-Axe/lute/guitar" You have an instruement thats a weapon and have fun.
A Warlock that misunderstands what it means to worship a "God of Good" and does things the Warlock way. i.E. "Save the Church" = turnin them into cultists that worship the God via alternative means like ritual sacrifice. Or a Paladin that got his powers from an Eldritch God, but is just accidently doing bad things with good intentions. "I giveth this soul unto you oh lord of the heavens" As the soul is ripped from its body and sucked into the realm of chaos. "Yes give me more, "save" these poor souls and give them to me!"

And the party call themselves 'The Aristocrats?'
Oh! That's funny.

A similar discussion on the D&D Beyond Discord prompted me to make Sarah Fimm: https://ddb.ac/characters/35319777/OEFTbs
She's an aarakocra draconic bloodline sorcerer, so at level 14 she has her bird wings AND her dragon wings. Four wings.
