I want to get the four animated character frames: Flamestrike, Radiant Corona, Heartseeker, and Dark Eldritch. But they aren't available in my character sheets (yes, I sync'ed my entitlements). What else do I need to do?
According to the FQA the subscriper perks are supposed to drop on the first Tuesday of a month, so they aren't late for this month yet.
Bold of you to assume a new time estimate will result in the first scheduled release to drop on time.
I'm not assuming anything, I simply pointed out that, by their own set standards, they are not late yet. That doesn't mean I expect them to drop the perks on time this month, just that you shouldn't complain about the perks being late just yet considering that the team never claimed they wanted to release the perks before the first Tuesday of the month.
I mean, I understand this is probably not the main thing anyone subscribes for, however having such inconsistent deliveries does not strike confidence.
I think we can all agree the perks are quite minor, yet they are not ready on time. Heck, if I go to the subscriber page it still shows July perks for me, while August perks were already delivered and we should have been gotten September perks by now. It would be so easy to cheat this as well since we have no idea what the perks are supposed to be before they are announced. Not ready on time? Release some old preorder stuff like the first time. Noone will know and you will be ready for next month (or have a second release later).
What I don't get is why someone can't just sit down and work up a big batch of stuff so that they've got several months worth of perks ready in advance?
While animated frames and dice are nice, I'd be perfectly happy just with more backgrounds and maybe a couple of themes; from a technical standpoint neither of those should take as long to make as frames and dice, the only delay would be in getting any necessary permissions for the artwork, but if you just do in one giant batch you could get dozens of backgrounds prepared well in advance then just release a half dozen or so at a time (could get 6+ months worth right there). That should then leave more time spare for the more difficult to implement perks.

Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.
I believe they made a big error in in breaking there rule of " We don't give dates" to say one a month has proven too much for them to handle.
For those of us that love and use D&D beyond almost daily we know that development is very slow on this site. They should have just said there will be random subscriber gifts dropped through out the year then they would save them self's all this hassle each month.

Well tbh, I believe they need more devs or PMs because they obviously understaffed. They are on the right direction that’s true, however their backlog is huge, they have 4 years old stuff like API and I can imagine they not even working on that at the moment. The “we don’t give ETA” attitude is now a trend nowadays, lot of companies do that to save face when they are in huge delays. I personally hate that attitude since if you have delays you should eliminate the reason for that (scope too big for timeframe, resources are too limited etc…) not invent a principle to mask it and live with it. In my opinion if you make a mistake then apologise, we are all humans we will understand, however if you keep making same mistakes then you should try to improve or fix it not come up with a rule that tries to hide it.

Animated Flamestriker!
Ahh, yes, Montly... The new span of time that we use during the pandemic. :P
Haha. I like to use the qualifier "-ish".
"I'll be back at 10-ish." "I can have that for you next week-ish."
Totally covered.

Montlyish.

We've stopped this OGL madness, but stay vigilant, they tried it once, they can try it again.
Still better than "yearly-ish"...
Oh God... I'm giving them ideas...

I had to log out and back in to get them to show up.

That didn't work but thanks for the suggestion.
Just making sure, but you do have a Hero or Master subscription correct?
The wait begins anew.
We should get the jeopardy music. Make it run in the background until the new content drops...

Gods. No.

Yep, that is fair. Did not know they had a schedule.
Complaining on hold until tomorrow. :D
