This is great, I ran my campaign this past Saturday and found what was already available very useful. Especially when I looked up the monsters spells, very discreet to look at my phone instead of a PHB. That was the players don't know what I am looking at.
I used this to run a session and while I had to take my laptop to the game I left a load of books at home. Everything held up really well, It was easy to find rules (we had to check out climbing movement) and a couple of other things but found them all. The spells and magic items and monsters were really useful too.
Suggestion
If you want to improve this for DMs have you thought about randomising tools to give DMs quick access to wandering monsters and items etc. IE find me a quick desert monster, cr 5. Find a random common magic item etc.
Hey Salleek, I thought I'd answer for now with what we know.
Genasi, Deep Gnomes, Goliaths and Aarakocra are all from Elemental Evils. We know they've confirmed that Elemental Evils content will be included in the DnD Beyond Compendium ('all official content'*) - it stands to reason that if they're including the new spells and monsters in the compendium, they're likely to add all the races to the character sheet creator. * http://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/beta-testing-feedback/568-beta-phase-one-basic-rules-content-only
Where is everything then?
Locate the lil boxes in the image I linked and click them. Right now you have access to the compendium, spells, items, and monsters lists.

This is a pretty nice collection of information:
1) will this be available as an app or only ever through the website?
2) will you be including beyond the SRD somewhere, in a paid version or something?
3) will this include Unearthed Archana as an optional add on?
1 - A standalone offline app is a definite in the future.
2 - Yes. Most likely content from the books will be in a paid format.
3 - Phase 3 will add a homebrew option, and it will most likely include UA content. :)

this is exactly what i have been waiting for ever seance I started playing D&D (0,0)
Do they have a vague ballpark calendar of when each phase is going to be rolled out?
At this time no dates have been announced for the next two phases, but full rollout is supposed to occur by Summer 2017.

Everything I have seen thus far is amazing and well crafted! I will look for any bugs or necessary adjustments as I glance through!

I hope this helps.
Hey BadEye, i was wondering if the Aarakrocra were going to be a playable race if even encountered at all, could you maybe give some insight to this.
