"I''ll stay with Verne" says Randy. "I'll switch to my squirrel form and I can help the rest of you to move silently with one of my spell" Randy then stands up and grabs his staff.
"Sure thing, will tell him to go sit somewhere in the vineyards until he sees me"
"Packed and ready, Storm, let's move out, and be sure to get back before the party starts"
Salkur is sitting on Black, ready to go.
Quick summary of what Red will be doing: sit in Tree near the road until Vyrn and his companions arrive, fly back to Keller jump on his shoulder to show the number of Thugs with Vern, fly into the vineyard to hide until he sees me and than he'll fly back to me.

"Meet at the mounts in ten." Ethan says as he too strides out to get the rest of his gear. When he returns he has his Maule in its sheath, the familiar X across his back once again. The maule has not seen as much use since he found the magical greatsword, always seeming to cause him problems when he has to use it.
((So druids are staying, with the intent to wild shape into something innocuous when the time comes, and Keller and Bryn are staying as well? Rest of the party making a show of departing through town before circling back around, hoping to be here in time?))

Yes exactly, and My Homunculus servant, Red, will fly back to Keller when he sees the Thugs on the road towards the Vineyard, "telling" him their numbers.

Atem stretched lazily and stood up, his long silvery hair falling over his shoulders. "Looks like we'll see y'all later," he grined and said goodbye to Keller and the others as he looked around, hands in his pockets, the heels of his military boots stepping onto the floor as he followed Ethan out of the room.
Bolt nods to Quickfingers and with an unseen gesture touches his shoulder before heading to the liquor cabinet again.
She takes the by now almost empty bottle with the amber liquid with her. As soon as the group gets closer to the village, she will hang back a bit, walking in a wobbly gait, swearing and shouting. Giving off the impression of a proper drunk, having been sent on her way by their host.
(What's the distance to the road? Keller would make sure there wasn't a chance that the incoming band of toughs would see the robot owl fly to the estate and to Keller's position, giving him away or raising their suspicions. So he'd confirm with Salkur that Red would set up its lookout far enough down the path and the road that it could take a curving path to Keller early enough that the group wouldn't have a good chance to see it.)
((It's far enough that Red can do what you want them to.))
((Alright, I think I have almost what I need to put together a big post to kick things off. Can I get either a Deception or Performance check from those who are 'departing'? It'll be group average, DC isn't real high, but if you far exceed, or come far short, it will affect things. I'll also take a Stealth check from those remaining behind, the wild shaped druids could instead use Performance if they'd like.))

As Storm leads the majority of the squad off on horse or mechanical steed, they manage a convincing display of disgust with their former employer, and definitely sell that they are done with him. The more perceptive among you may spot an unsavory looking fellow scurrying off to carry word to someone...
Quickfingers dashes off a note, and entrusts it to one of the staff to see delivered to Vrin's people. A weary resignation to make a deal, should any of you that remained care to read it. The rest of the staff are bundled off with the remaining mounts, taking them to the caverns and waiting there themselves. The woman who took the note returns, and reports that she delivered it, then kept watch to make sure that Vrin was mobilizing. She says they are on their way, and refuses to go to the caverns, preferring to stay and guard him and make sure this goes off without a hitch. He relents.
Keller, you are outside waiting and keeping an eye on things, when you see a faint glint in the sky. As it approaches, you recognize Red, who lands on your shoulder and begins jumping up and down, up and down. It would seem that Vrin is rolling deep, and The Forge is likely to be outnumbered, even if the 7 that departed make it through the caverns in time. If they don't you'll be BADLY outnumbered. But... they aren't likely to be elite, battle hardened mercenaries, and The Forge brings such chaos to make talking about 'odds' meaningless.
The seven who departed manage to circle wide of the town, pausing to make sure you aren't tailed, before crossing country out of view of the town, looping back through field and valley, heading for the spire of rock that marks the entrance to the caverns. Storm knocks on the stout metal door in the proscribed manner, and one of the staff swings it wide with a welcoming grin, beckoning you to enter. The caverns within are winding an narrow on this end, the door serves more to keep out folks too curious, the entrance below the packaging shed serves as the main in and out, and as you descend, the caverns widen, the floors level out, and there is a vaulted ceiling of rock above you. There are torches that throw no heat placed periodically through the caverns, and you begin to see crates and crates of wine, barrels of various sizes on either side of a track. You continue walking and walking, passing more and more crates and barrels. It's been a hours since you left, and you can't help but wonder how close things are to popping off back at the villa, lending a bit of urgency to your step.
