It's the combined attacks of hulking Xenophon's hammer blow and Hal's mechanical gnawing that chew the banshee ghost into starlight. Without even the ability to scream, she fades away, nothing more than a dusty memory. Nova sneezes. And sneezes. She gives herself a shake and sneezes one more time before plugging her nose while escorting herself out.
The hut falls eerily silent, with nothing but a gust of wind outside it. Soon sunlight starts to descend down onto the forest floor, flushing out festering flora. There was still plenty of daylight ahead of the group for their travels to the manse.
With things clearing up outside, Nova takes a deep breath before she kicks off, darting aimlessly around the property. While she got out her zoomies, Stacey stayed back at their perch for watch. They'd signal Fae with a nod so the wizard could sweep the inside with the others.
The wizard would stride in towards the shelves, thumbing through the literature. Eventually she'd pluck a mundane journal from the collection of dusty spines. Those interested enough to review the shelves along with her would find a scroll, a spellbook and some accompanying notes.
Those sure to search the chests find some smaller treasures would discover a set of boots, a bottle of perfume, a pole, a lock, and a potion.
Auric goes right to work, casting Detect Magic and gathering anything that could be magical. He prepares to Identify whatever he detects as magical, and he is intrigued by the spellbook as well…

Onu nods as the party sweeps the rest of the hut before stepping back outside to make sure nothing was tracking them or closing in on them from behind.
As the party brings out the various items and sets about identifying them he signals to KD to make sure they see the various arcane accoutrements - just the sort of fodder for her ingenious mind.
