The competitors enter the battlefield. There is still some commotion nearby as people carry the girl who fell from the sky, back toward the school, yet the competitors here are focused on the battle ahead.
...
Sha'kar Menoth, the bold blue bastion
...
Once everyone is in place the now familiar weathered voice calls out, marking the begining of the match. "Five... Four... ... Begin!" ...
Ori'ck is an imposing figure, standing nearly eight feet tall and covered in so many scars and tattoos it's almost impossible to find any un-touched part of his light grey skin. he carries a large maul at all times, with a morning star on his hip, a shield on his back alongside a specially made "quiver" that carries javelins. He dresses simply, in either easy to replace rags or stout travelling clothes designed to take a beating. The only "glamorous" item he wears is a fine golden circlet that holds with a large well-cut ruby. He rarely speaks, and when he does it is always short. The only interaction he tends to have with others is card games, even though he doesn't get overly chatty with the other players, they seem to bring him some sort of joy.
(I'll post shortly. I'm writing the update now. If you wish to DM read (and understand) the instructions in the Aftermath thread. It may be wise to do so after you've had some experience in the arena.)
As this community grows again we will benefit from additional DMs. If you feel you are up to the challenge instructions and discussion of the process can be found in The Aftermath:
As soon as the automatons are defeated, a wounded but still kicking Eldin doesn't stick around the magic academy. He dashes as fast as he can to the coliseum. He taps into all the power his skills as a Rogue and his devotion to his dark god has bestowed on him to run close to 300 meters per minute (Getting a 90ft movement speed by Dashing as both an action and BA every turn) towards the second site of the robot attack. He arrives and takes a moment to catch his breath while he looks around for Grianne.
Dreadwood, after a long debate with himself about destroying the slot machine, gradually makes his way to the ruins of a certain forge. At which point he'd begin the long, arduous task of setting the building to right brick by brick with hardly any rest. 'Now' He thought. 'Now was the time to build the temple' And so he worked, throwing out the rare healing word to passerbys wounded in the rampage of machines, but hardly pay more mind or interest than that.

Tolwar completes his self inventory and finds that he is undamaged from the fight with the rogue mechanoids. With nothing to do before the next appropriate bout starts he finds a cell to shut down for an appropriate rest period.
Going to go get a long rest in to get those spell slots back before the next battle hopefully.

Ori'ck looks around at the piles of scrap that lay around, sifted through a nearby pile with his foot, and pulls out a single cog. I puts it on a small thread hanging from the pommel of his maul. He think's he's going to like it here. He goes about looking for some uninhabited rubble to lay claim to, some where to wait until the next bout. (OOC so that was my first experience with this forum, how does the regular match making work??)
The next match will feature any interested level-4 competitors. The match will begin September 28, 1 PM PST. Or sooner, if all level 4 contestants gather before then.
And while he's at it, he'll see about trading in his lightning javelin and gauntlets of Ogre power for Old Faithful.
With all that business attended to, he goes hunting for gems around the city as the most brilliant plot of all was not cooking in the brain bin.

All set Keneux. I did some copy pasta for Xeno to avoid some future re-editting. Mind setting the scene, and we're using the same arena as was on fighting ground last?

Swigg starts his turn at N16 after the arena was cleared out for the night. For prep he will cast Longstrider on himself. When he gets into position he will click his heels together cast a Minor Illusion of a Rock and chill in it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Xeno starts his turn off at X after the arena was cleared out for the night. In preparation for the rematch, he is bereft of visible metal. Instead he planned to rely magic, guts, and a well treated wooden shield and staff to help him. When he gets into position he drinks some concoction and bags the flask, casting a juiced up False life on himself. As Butters was on lookout, sadly he wouldn't be helping him out. Not that he expected to need it. Kenny is at least his side and given one final chance to make up its previous failures.
Initiative: 6. Start Position: B1, Kenny the Turret at C1.
Prep/Ability: Hours before the rematch Ritual Summon a Black Banded Owl named Butters and cast Mage Armor on self before using Arcane Recovery get back 1st level slot for MA. Aid is Cast at 3rd level on self and Butters. Have (Small, Legged)Force Balista Turret Active. Arcane Firearm feature added to Enhanced Arcane Staff.
Prep Round: Cast False Life at 3rd level. Temp HP: 15.
