Avaria stands back up and places a hand on Bigge's shoulder with a smile, "playing nice sounds good to me. And sure,"she gives a little chuckle, "no more bolts in their mast.... well, unless they fire against us first." her smile turns into a smirk, but its light hearted.
She looks around at the boat and then to Bigge, "Um, which side is the furthest from their ship? I'd like not to be noticed and I do not know those terms."

Jan will take the side closest to where she might be observed by the other ship, and try to stand in a suitably drunk Captain who just got his ship back sort of pose.

Ethel moves out on to the bow sprit, and keeps her gaze down, looking for rocks. She does spot an underwater ledge and shouts that back to Bigge, who quickly adjusts the course of the Rose Marie.
Jan goes to the starboard side, which is the one most likely to be seen by the other ship. She spends a little more time focused on looking like a drunk that she doesn't pay a lot of attention to the water below. But luckily no harm comes from that.
If Avaria is going to the port side, please roll a perception.
Down below, Marrin finds a tired looking, but resilient group. They may not have the strengths of the party, but the ones there have managed to survive the dungeons of the Hargroves too. There's sounds of surprise and sadness at the mention of Xanthe. At the loss of Jisthelek, the four remaining goblins look at each other and shrug.
Adelysia Demai sits in one corner and nods when Marrin asks if she can count on support.
Geffroi Desbiens doesn't appear to listen as his nose is deep in the books and scrolls and whatnot that was liberated from Godrick's lab.
Hammerdasher and Ula look up from whatever conversation they were having and nod to Marrin as well.
"Secure Tammer and Slick and start an inventory of what we have for food and water. We need to stay below deck for now to not draw too much attention. Hammerdasher, you want to take charge of Tammer and Slick. Ula, you put together a group to start checking out the food and water situation."
She looks to the merchant woman and then Geffroi before deciding on the former,
"Adelysia, we need to know what people can do that might help us. Start finding out."
She then says to everyone,
"Help these three out as best you can, everything and everyone can make a difference."
She makes sure everyone is onboard, including the goblins, before saying,
"I'm going back up to see what I can do, if you need help or find anything urgent yell up for someone so you don't get spotted."
She then turns and heads back up, changing back to Tammer's face and voice along the way muttering under her breath,
Ethel continues to hold her perch and scan for rocks, until such time as she is told they have clear sailing. She can think of half a dozen things she would rather be doing on the ship, but running aground due to negligent sailing isn't one of them.

Geffroi looks up when Marrin finishes speaking and holds up some paper and a pen and starts in on inventorying what he sees in the hold.
Ula and Hammerdasher have Tammer and Slick tied up against the hull. The two look in pretty rough shape, but Ula examines them and gives Marrin a shrug.
"Looks like they'll live," she says.
Adelysia looks relieved to have something to do and begins talking to the rest of the prisoners.
Back up on deck, Ethel does her best to keep her concentration going but misses a jagged out cropping just under the surface. Thankfully Avaria catches sight of it and shouts to Bigge.
The quartermaster adjusts the wheel at the helm slightly and just skims past the rocks.
After a few more moments the Rose Marie enters the narrow channel that is the entrance to the harbour. The cavern narrows, with steep cliff-like sides extending to the ceiling high above. A rocky outcropping scrapes the railing near Avaria but otherwise the ship makes it through and comes out to the sea.
Bright light greets everyone on board, with the sun just rising over the horizon.
Once clear of the harbour mouth, you can catch sight of two sets of sails off to the south; the other ships already pulling away from the Rose Marie.
Bigge shouts joyfully and lets out a whoop.
"Welcome back to the Sea of Fallen Stars," he calls down to everyone. "Should we hang back a bit until we have some open waters before deciding where to head?"
Avaria stands on deck, unmoving letting the wind and rising dawn wash over her body. Closing her eyes and slowly breathing in the salt air, she relishes it and gets a pang for home. This didn't smell like home, didn't feel like it either and even though she never thought she would be homesick, the ordeal her and her friends are escaping from have put things in a different perspective for her.
She thinks about Cookie and wonders about her friend, how she's doing and if she's alright.
Letting out an audible sigh, she finally opens her eyes and at Bigge's question, she looks to her friends, in particular Ethel. But smiles at the mans exuberance.

Tamarrin pokes her head up and looks around before emerging the entire way.
She closes her eyes and takes a breath before turning to address Bigge,
"Where would we go? Where the nearest safe port?"
She'll stay for that conversation before heading around and giving everyone their gold back and heading into the captain's quarters to quickly put on her armor and change clothes. She is smiles with her own face as she comes out,
"When you're done blunting your picks on those chains Jan, maybe give the former captain's chest and cupboard a check. We can maybe find some charts or maps or something."
She will then begin collecting the dead, placing Xanthe and Jistelek separate from the others. She will check the firstmate, and Jistelek, for any items.
Beginning to relax for the first time in hours, though still keeping an uneasy eye on the other ships, she takes in a breath of salt air. Then she turns to Bigge.
”Mr. Bigge, I think we need to turn now and start separating ourselves from those ships. From what I gather, the others managed to ensorcle William Hargrove and convince him to chase down his son on that other ship. If so, nothing we do right now, including fleeing, should cause him to change course. Once he catches that ship, however, and the enchantment ends, I fear he will use all at his disposal to run us down. If the Rose Marie lacks in speed, then let us waste not a moment.”
”As for destination, that depends on where we are? Do you know the location of this island? I would suggest ‘the nearest port more likely to sympathize with us rather than pirates.’ Sembia would be my own preference, but for all I know we may be on the far side of the sea from there.”

Given enough time, Jan does eventually get Bigge free of the manacles around his ankles, for which he’s very appreciative. Given how raw the skin under the restraints were, it’s likely that Bigge has been chained up the entire time you were prisoners on the island.
Bigge watches the ships for a few moments and bobs his head from side to side, thinking.
“I’d say they’re bearing northeast. Where that takes them is anyone’s guess. They could be making for Thesk, or they could be heading all the way up the Easting Reach” Bigge says.
He looks around the horizon for a moment and then points more or less due east.
“Back to Spandeliyon would be the shortest route to a port,” Bigge says then adds “Never felt that was an unfriendly port.”
He looks back west, northwest and frowns a little.
“We’d need to go through the rest of the Pirate Isles and then cross some stormy waters to get to Sembia. The Rose Marie is up to it, but not sure if this crew is.”
Before any decision is made about which direction to take, both Hammerdasher and Geffroi come up the stairs, mid conversation, animated. A stack of paper and open books threaten to fall out of Geffroi’s arms.
“How does he bloody well know about her?” Hammedasher asks Geffroi with a brewing rage.
“I don’t know, I’ve, um, only been here as long as you but that’s what it says in the notes.” Geffroi says.
A streak of very crude dwarven curses and coarse language follows.
“I may have wanted to kill him before but if he gets her to talk, he’s going to have the whole clan wanting to kill him.” Hammerdasher says. He pauses for a few moments before looking at Bigge. He moves closer to Jan, Marrin and Avaria and lowers his voice to almost a whisper. “That Godrick prick is still up to something.”
Jan stands up and straightens her back after she finally springs Bigge from his shackles, stretching her fingers. "Best get some ointment on that raw skin, if we can't scare any up in the Captain's quarters or elsewhere on the ship, I can get you some in the morning, if it's not bothering you too bad. Sooner if it is, of course."
"I think Godrick has allies in Spandeylion. I had a contact that put me on his tail there, but don't think they knew the extent what he and the rest of the family are up to out here. I think if we were to go there, word would make it to Godrick eventually, but that might be the case wherever we go."
When Hammerdasher and Geffroi spill above deck.
"Ham, you've referred to a 'her' multiple times now, and it clearly means something to you, but it doesn't to the rest of us.", Jan says, looking around for confirmation that it's not just her that isn't quite following the angry dwarf's rant.
Marrin takes a look at the docks then the dark water and then the entrance.
"I'd normally love to help but spotting things like rocks under water is not something I've got any experience or aptitude for, sadly."
She looks to Ava questioningly.
Avaria stands back up and places a hand on Bigge's shoulder with a smile, "playing nice sounds good to me. And sure," she gives a little chuckle, "no more bolts in their mast.... well, unless they fire against us first." her smile turns into a smirk, but its light hearted.
She looks around at the boat and then to Bigge, "Um, which side is the furthest from their ship? I'd like not to be noticed and I do not know those terms."
She then hears Marrin, "Unless you want me at the front, I'll do that."
"Up to you!"
She looks to the stairs down,
"Honestly I think Ula is your gal Bigge. She's more the water sort."
She turns to find Ethel,
"Which reminds me, Ethel? Were you a mermaid for a while there? That's a handy skill, but why didn't you use in the cave ponds?"
Jan will take the side closest to where she might be observed by the other ship, and try to stand in a suitably drunk Captain who just got his ship back sort of pose.
