Norr takes Leo's moving head as he looks around from the tree as a nod. "Excellent."
He draws his bow grip in a fluid motion, and with a quiet note of song, draws a barely visible silvery-grey bowstring of magic back with his ring finger. He aims at the spot where he guesses the path of the beast was likely to go, and infuses it with thunder so it will boom when it lands.
(should I make an attack roll, for accuracy, or an investigation or insight or something for his guess about where it might be scared up from?) (Sorry, BKAce. A Nat 1, I had to have Norr misunderstand what you were doing.)

(You're fine, that makes sense) After you do so, Leo just looks at you and goes "What the bloody hell was that" (He didn't hear you talk before that; he was focused)
The light of the blast doesn't reveal anything, and you don't hear anything either.
((Because he's a Djinni Genie, his blasts get an extra thunder component, so it should make a loud sonic bang too if that changes anything? My thinking is that snakes/snake-like things are really sensitive to vibrations with their ears and their bellies on the ground))
You see some animal tracks going around, but no humanoid tracks. One animal track does, however, startle you, in that it appears to be rather subtle and well supressed and that it belongs to a very large creature.
Very large for a snake? Or very large as in the size of a big horse?
Despite the nat 1 on how far the tracks go, Leo says from what he can see "Aye, looks like a massive snake, or something was dragged on the floor. But either way, I'm wondering if we should just follow them to see where they lead?"
The trail continues throughout the forest quite a bit, and you find yourself following it for quite a while but not actually finding any kind of snake.
As Leo gets close enough to notice he sees Dolmek’s eyes are wide and he is breathing rapidly, every once in a while a tremor as he marches along the snake trail. “I I think we’re close could be this sssnake is lairing in the secret tunnel.”

Any ideas how fresh this trail is?

You two climb the tree, but after waiting for about a minute there still is nothing.

Could I examine the tracks from where I am? (Survival check I presume?)

Follow the trail... light hammer held and ready shield on.
Alright Dolmek. Does anyone come with him or is he stuck adventuring alone?

Norr will answer the call. “Fear not Lord Silverstone, I shall scarcely be 40 feet behind you.”
Leo suggested the Idea, he'll be going too
