Giles stops descending the stairs, instead he comes back up and walks midway down the hall going toward Zefla, putting another bolt in his crossbow as he does so. If his bolt drops the vine blight, he will advance down the hall to attack the Druid. He also directs the spiritual axe to attack the vine blight if it is still alive, if not it will attack the Druid. “I’m coming…any more of them?”
Crossbow bolt : 21 to hit, for 6 points of piercing damage.
Spiritual weapon : 8 to hit, for 6 points of force damage.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Giles' crossbow bolt plunges into the center of mass of the vine creature. It shudders and then falls to the floor, its vines disentangling from one another into an inartful pile at the end of the hall.
[Since Gilescannot see the Druid around the corner, I don't believe he can make a melee spell attack with his spiritual weapon. Based on the roll, it would have missed anyway.]
Burr clobbers the downstairs Druid with his maul, but it feels like hammering a block of wood. He doesn't appear to have hurt the corrupted forest dweller. [Druid is under effect of [spell[barkskin[/spell] and its AC is currently 16.]
The Druid darts away from Thornto the other side of Burr[Thornmay make an opportunity attack against the Druid... Druid doesn't leave Burr'sreach so no AOO for Burr]. Then he turns and raises his staff. There is a peel of roaring thunder in the Fermentation Room and Burrand Thorn are hit with a thunderwave. They each must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, they take 9 thunder damage and are pushed 10 feet away from the Druid. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn't pushed.
[Based on HP, it doesn't look like Thorncan survive this. I left Thorn on the map in case I am wrong about that. Burractually can't be pushed 10' away because a barrel is in the way. But he should still make the save to see if he can halve the damage.]

Thorn AoO maul/bite to hit dark druid at advantage: 26 (nat. 20) Thorn AoO maul/bite damage on dark druid: 12 piercing
Fully extended and covered in twigs, needles and blood (his own and the druid's), the spirit wolf feels the thunderous wave of magic energy smash his broken form backwards. With a final look of goodbye at Burr and Soren, Thorn collapses in a heap in the southeast corner of the room, then vanishes.

Zefla stares in a moment of surprise as the vine blight in front of her crumples in a heap. Seeing the bolt, realization dawns on her, and over her shoulder she calls out "Thanks!" to Giles, then runs after the upstairs Dark Druid in hot pursuit, wiping some of her blood off as she runs.
It looks like she can just get there?
Using her shortsword and dagger, she attacks the woman..

"This is not over. Tonight, betrayers such as these are planning a dark ritual, I know not where, to summon some worse abomination. A greater corruption that will drink the tears of the fallen and feast on their corpses, they said. They are in league with 'the ancient one', which must mean the darklord, I think, for who else is one with this cursed land? They called this the 'vampire's staff' and was eager for me to bring it to the ritual, so I think we should not. And I have promised Father Lucien in the city of Vallaki that I at least will return tonight to help them find the lost relic of the cathedral."
He and Nettle venture back into the wagon-loading room to dispatch the final twig blight that remains there as Bramble the incorporeal bear fades away.
The dark druid leader's "vampire staff" hangs uncomfortably from Soren's belt like a rotted animal corpse and he calls for Silvanus'guidance as he and the owl stare outside to see if they can make out whether a horde of blights still infests the vineyards outside (or mists block vision).
"I can send Nettle to signal to Davian Martikov ato come, but I am not certain whether the way is safe, since he will not be protected by the primal magic of Pass Without Trace as we were, and the blights we passed in the vineyard may be there still. Perhaps the ravens will go."
He looks up at the ravens in the rafters, cawing at them using Speech of the Woods. In raven, he says to them:
"Black-winged ones. Do enough of you live to deliver a message for the humans who lair here to approach cautiously? You are clearly their allies. Can you communicate with them? There are still blights in the vineyards. I thank you for your aid against the betrayers and their abominations."
(Soren goes on to describe to the ravens where in the woods Davian Martikov and his men had met them).
" Can we just burn the staff? There are a lot of those things in the vineyard....though I'm happy to smash them all day there may be more druids in other buildings here."
He looks at Soren, " When is the ritual? We should stop it. I know you made a promise but if the winery is destroyed then there is no future for those who relied on its produce to alleviate the sorrows of this land. We must prevent the ritual and help those hiding in the woods make this place what it was."
" The town can wait.....this place gives hope to more than just one town."
"Tonight," Soren answers grimly. "They said the ritual is tonight."
"If we knew where it is, we could go there and slay all the druids taking part in it. Destroy their unholy implements. Like this staff here, as you say. We do not even have to wait until tonight for that, perhaps. This land seems deadlier at night. Davian may know where they came from."
Giles comes down the steps, after a minute has passed his glowing axe fades out. He walks up to Burr and Soren, looking around at the smashed twigs in the room. “We are still enshrouded, I think. Upstairs we should quickly look through and see if there are any writings about their plans. There was a mirror with a curious substance on it. We need to look here quickly, then head to the main house I think, another Druid or two could be here and unaware of what we have done. Let’s look into it quickly before we run into the yard and attack.” Giles walks back to the middle stairs, starting to head back up to the bedroom.
