Not seeing any more of the floor tipping, a nd the original section having returned to its place, Tyris heads back to where he was before, just before the part of the floor that tilted. "What do you have in mind for crossing here?"
Ooc: @dm which skill should the “jumper” need? Athletic?!
Long Jump. When you make a long jump, you cover a number of feet up to your Strength score if you move at least 10 feet on foot immediately before the jump. When you make a standing long jump, you can leap only half that distance. Either way, each foot you clear on the jump costs a foot of movement.
So you don't need skill check. Oreus you can jump 18 feet if you move at least 10 feet on foot immediately before the jump. Or 9 feet if you make a standing long jump. As your strength score is 18.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Oreus makes it across after he catches his breath, he look a the glyphs on the to doors by the trap. The first he recognizes right away as a 2nd "A" the second door11 is an "R".
Tyris looks at the rope tied off to the sconce. "I think I'd rather just follow your example and jump across." He gets a 10 foot running start and jump across the trapped section to join Oreus and Shadow.
Alben grabs the rope and makes a flying jump, unfortunately he falls short of the safe point by a foot. The floor starts to tilt sending him into the pit.
Oreus can make a Str check with advantage to pull him out before he lands (DC 24 to pull him out, DC 12 to keep him from falling to the bottom. If you roll a natural 1 he falls and pulls you with him). If you don't pull him out everyone needs to roll initiatives again.

"Have the nimblest of us jump over and secure a rope to the ground on the other side and we climb across. Anyone not strong enough gets carried."
I got alot a doods

"ok, I will go"
Oreus adjust his helm and offers as volounteer. He takes out the rope and gives one end to Shadow.
Then he takes a little run-up and jumps
Oreus makes it across after he catches his breath, he look a the glyphs on the to doors by the trap. The first he recognizes right away as a 2nd "A" the second door11 is an "R".
Oreus looks around for something where to tie the end of the rope and, if he doesn’t find anything, he is ready to hold the rope to help the others
There is an empty sconce that looks like it would fis a touch. It may or may not bear the weight of a person.
Oreus ties the end of the rope to the sconce but holds the rope as well just in case, then murmurs to others
"come on everybody, cross one per time"
(Trap section is 10 feet right?)
Tyris looks at the rope tied off to the sconce. "I think I'd rather just follow your example and jump across." He gets a 10 foot running start and jump across the trapped section to join Oreus and Shadow.
Tyris makes it across the trapped area.
Waiting for Laladak and Alben
*Thunk* *Thunk**Thunk* *Hoouump* Laladak gets a running start and clears the gap in the floor.
I got alot a doods
Laladak makes it over with ease, despite his armor.
Alben is going to take the rope across.
Athletics: 4
Dex save (in case): 7

Trap initiative 17
Oreus concentrates on the rope, hanging with all his might
Strength 22
19
ooc: sorry, but at first the roll didn't work, so I had to re-roll, could you consider the first please?
So you had advantages so you rolled a 22 and a 19, is that correct?
Neither of those are quite enough to pull him all the way out. He is hanging on to the rope about 5 feet down into the pit.
Everyone roll initiatives
init 11
Anyone with a higher initiative than 10 can act as soon as you roll
