Kitryn launches forward, attacking the goblin barring the path to reach Yeemik. As her attacks are committed, she sees yet another goblin that had at that point not been revealed, and this distracts her enough that her target easily blocks all her attacks with its shield. Kitryn, frustrated, backs off, knowing Yeemik was on his way to harm the hostage.
OOC: Playing for Erenaeth, as missing a turn can prove to be fatal for the Hostage.
Erenaeth watches Yeemik flee to the stairs. His hatred of goblins and the threat to the hostage drives her to fury. She pushes through Katerielle and Kitryn, to balance herself on the edge of the precipice in order to gain a line of sight on Yeemik.
Dex (Acrobatics) check (DC10) to maintain balance on the edge: 7
The shelf that collapsed earlier under Leek is not stable, and when Erenaeth steps on it, some of it crumbles away, leaving him unbalanced. He spends his action to catch himself and loses the opportunity to attack.
Rindelk moves up the tunnel and sees Yeemik grappling the hostage. With some quick thinking, Rindelk casts Infestation, causing a cloud of biting insects to bite at the goblin. Yeemik, recoiling from the stings, drops the hostage and moves behind the pillar (D10).
Leek casts Mold Earth to try to move the earth under the goblins feet, but the goblin instinctively jumps sideways staying where he is as the earth below his feet gets dumped over the edge of the crevasse.
For the second attack "Two-Weapon Fighting", you add your bonus for the first (To-Hit) but not to the damage. So your second attack is a 23 with 4 damage.
Two-Weapon Fighting
When you take the Attack action and attack with a light melee weapon that you're holding in one hand, you can use a bonus action to attack with a different light melee weapon that you're holding in the other hand. You don't add your ability modifier to the damage of the bonus attack, unless that modifier is negative.
Kitryn feints with her sword to draw the shield to one side, then jams her dagger into the exposed goblin's side. The two goblins behind, frustrated at their inability to get to Kitryn, just slash the air above their heads in frustration.
OOC: Erenaeth death save: 11 for a success. Need 3 successes to stabilize, or 3 failures to die.
Erenaeth gasps, taking a breath, trying to hold on to life.
OOC: Goblin attack vs. Kitryn: Attack: 23 Damage: 4
After being jabbed in the ribs by Kitryn, the goblin retaliates with a slash to her shins.
OOC: Kitryn currently at 2 hp.
Yeemik, free of biting insects, once again grapples the unresisting hostage and lifts him up, ready to throw.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kitryn is angrily muttering. thinking out loud
'need a way around the shields.. another blow will..no .. can't leave the mages open..'
her arm continues to bleed, and now a quick glance downward to gauge the new pain radiating from her leg. something of a glimmer catches her attention, a bottle tied to her belt but recently and forgotten just as quickly.
a reflected glimmer of hope shines in her eye from the red liquid.

OOC: I like that you narrated it like a story. +1 inspiration from me.
Speaking of which... I learn new things from the other games I'm a player in. Turns out there are 2 kinds of Inspiration: Bardic and DM. I thought they were the same, but they're not.
Bardic inspiration is a dice you get to roll on top of your existing rolls, if you think it will help. As the bard levels up, so does the dice he awards. Bards hand these out.
DM inspiration is a reward to be handed out, but all it does is grant the recipient ADVANTAGE if they choose to use it (they have to declare they are doing so before they roll dice).
So Kitryn now has DM inspiriation to use at her discretion.

A goblin steps forward, seeing Erenaeth precariously poised at the edge of the precipice and tries a shove attack.
Goblin STR check 9 vs. Erenaeth Acrobatics check 6
(Wow...)
Erenaeth is unable to keep his balance and falls 20 feet for 10 damage, and is prone.
(Wow...)
Erenaeth is unconscious.
Yeemik runs the rest of the way up the stairs and grapples the hostage, lifting him up.
OOC: automatic success since the hostage is unable to defend himself.
It is now Rindelk, Katerielle, Leek and Kitryn's turns. Post in any order.

Yeemik CON save vs DC 12: 11

Rindelk moves up the tunnel and sees Yeemik grappling the hostage. With some quick thinking, Rindelk casts Infestation, causing a cloud of biting insects to bite at the goblin. Yeemik, recoiling from the stings, drops the hostage and moves behind the pillar (D10).
Katariel Attacks Gob 4 with Thorn Whip - 6 1
Katerielle's vine lashes out at the nearest goblin, but it is already weary of it and blocks the attack with its shield.
OOC: Kitryn and Leek still need to do their actions.
Leek uses Mold Earth under the feet of the goblin that pushed his teammate, in the hopes of having him slide down and join the elf in the chasm below.
Arcana: 4
Shazbutt.
Goblin DEX save vs. DC (4): 18
Leek casts Mold Earth to try to move the earth under the goblins feet, but the goblin instinctively jumps sideways staying where he is as the earth below his feet gets dumped over the edge of the crevasse.

Katariel Attacks Gob 4 with Thorn Whip - 6 3
OOC: I screwed up and didn't play Yeemik in the proper order. I edited post #374 and allowed Rindelk to edit his target in post #375.
Rindelk's firebolt flies into Yeemik's head, burning a large crater where his face once was. Both Yeemik and the hostage slump to the ground.
Still wary of Katerielle's vine, the goblin avoids being hurt by it.
Leek fingers a stone, cradles it in his sling and with a quick flourish, flings it at the goblin in front of Kitryn.
Attack: 10 Damage: 5
The stone hits the goblin on the brow, just above the eye. The goblin looks dazed, and in rough shape.
