Because Halorin hit on both attacks, Valar is at Disadvantage if he doesn't attack Halorin on his next turn.
As Amiz steps forward to attack Lestheris, Halorin uses his reaction to take the hit instead, protecting his master and friend. Thelanis is still up, you're friends seem to have turned the tide of battle and The Eaters are now the ones on the back foot. Both Lestheris and Halorin look pretty beat now.
Just realised Valar actually succeded on his Saving Throw, so is not Prone, nor does he have to attack Halorin. He can also regain the 7 damage he suffered from the mace attack.
Thelanis throws an Eldritch Blast at one of the Shades, and it fades away, leaving one Shade left. Mycette sees the Shade dissipate in front of her eyes and nods her head, "I can tell when it's time to depart. Lestheris, we did have some good times, but I'm afraid our plans have come to an end. Niniasha will have to continue to watch events from afar, no deal will be made with the creatures in Kholias. Bye bye." She giggles as she uses the Dash action to run as far west as possible into the Underdark.
Draíocht, Valar, and Alsen are up. Lestheris, Halorin, and 1 Shade is all that remains of The Eaters in the Inn of the Drowning Cat.
Halorin makes a last ditch effort to cover Lestheris from the Moonlight damage, but it is no use. The Moonlight engulfs them and they both are incinerated in it's glow. Lestheris let's out a foul scream as she dies, "You've beaten us. But you'll find, like we did, that the power within Kholias outweighs all." The Eaters are gone. Alsen stands in disbelief.
Are you all going to try to chase down Mycette? Or you letting her go?
[[ Took a look, if it *just* missed then it probably should've hit. (though doesn't matter in this case) @Aagie, remember the strength mallus from the shadows is gone. ]]
Are you all going to try to chase down Mycette? Or you letting her go?
Draíocht would be intent on shooting off a couple arrows from his longbow if she's still in sight, but will focus on staying with the group. Still has goodberry berries from the day before to give for some healing after this battle.'

Draíocht fires off a couple of arrows, one hitting Mycette in the arm, she swears but keeps running. Using the Dash action to get more than 120ft in the distance, so possibly out of range. The Inn of the Drowning Cat is silent now, even the sound of Mycette running is like a distant whisper. Alsen breathes heavily, "That's it. I can't believe you did it. The Golden Valor are laid to rest, and The Eater's are no more. Thank you, so much. I will accompany you to wherever you need to go from here, and know that I as so grateful."
The church next door still calls to Valar, and there is still no sign of Sanford, who you know was captured by The Eaters. But feel free to take a moment to reflect on the battle just past.
Valar looks to the group, I must enter the church, to see what has been defiled." He will make his way to the entrance, and look inside the church through the door(s), what does he see: Perception: 4
Amiz is quite injured and says "Go ahead Valar but I must tend to my wounds. I almost saw my maker in that battle. If there is trouble just yell, and I will come charging in. Draoicht, how many berries do you have because I am going to need a fistful of berries for my wounds"
Draíocht hands berries to Amiz. "Take what you want, friend."
[[ Got 55 berries, so can get quite a decent bit of healing out there. Due to wildshape, Draíocht has another option for hp (though would like to get 10 I think just so his natural Elf form has a bit of wiggle room). Not sure how many Valar and Thelanis will want. ]]
Valar walk into the church, the overbearing silence of the Underdark somehow washes away and you feel light of hope. Assuming you’re bringing some light source into the room, you see what at first seems like a typical church, pews and candle holders. Then you see at the end of the church, just past the altar, a giant statue of a male god. While at first he seems like a stately old man unfertilised to you, you notice some familiar items of clothing, armour, and symbols. This is a statue of the god Araevos, another aspect of your own god, Tyr. The statue seems to be calling you to come and pray.
Valar will come before the statue, kneel, and pray to his god to give him strength to vanquish the dark and evil forces that are plaguing those of the light. To allow him to bring justice to those who have been oppressed.
Valar sits at the foot of Araevos/Tyr and feels a light shine through him, as though the god is about to Bless him. But at the last moment a feeling of unease passes over him and he feels his attention brought towards a spot behind the statue. He sees a trapdoor pulled open, and feels a great sense of foreboding emanating from the hole. Stairs go down into the basement of the church, and all you see is darkness beyond them. You'll have to commit to exploring the basement of the church to find out what's down there.
Draíocht eats 9 berries himself. He looks at the bodies around. "The Eaters could go to the animals, but I suppose it would be good for us to bury Alsen's companion. Although with the way Kholias affected him before, perhaps we should join Valar first?"
[[ 12 berries left now. @Drumdigby, were you managing Thelanis' health during the fight? (could give some of those to her) and @Aagie, would Valar need any? ]]

The church is dark on the inside. You'll have to actually enter to get a better look inside.
Is everyone else going in with Valar?

Amiz takes 34 berries and sighs in relief as the deep cuts heal. He will do his best to wipe the blood off of his gear as he waits for Valar.
