No worries. This is actually going fast for a PbF game, and it's OK foe us to act weird, especially at the start. Being a new holy warrior, Yaudara's fixing to judge the heck out of all of you. 😁
Well, hopefully his usefulness will prove to outweigh his eccentricities.
Now I'm just imagining Ichep judging my character with the Scales of Anubis. Gotta hope Faen doesn't get thrown to Ammit.
Let's hope he doesn't. Would need Faen's heart for that.
Sorry I'm the slowest to respond. I'm trying to keep up, and do respond at least once a day ...
Agreed with SunDial365, there is no need to apologize. A post once a day is more than sufficient. When we're tracking things round-by-round, I tend to enforce the 'I would like to hear from each of you between each one of my posts' but once we are outside of an encounter it does become a lot more fluid.
If someone rolls an ability check or takes an action, I will generally let them know the results, etc, even if all of us have not posted yet.
But if someone misses a few cycles, that can lead to something I would like to avoid. Namely, players feeling left in the dust.
A post once a day is fine with me and my crystal ball tells me that we will settle into something a bit slower than that once we stop the dungeoncrawl portion of the game.
During a dungeoncrawl, there is something I dunno ... concrete and immediate about being given a set of choices ("You see two doors ... What do you do?"). It encourages players to chime in, make a choice and say what their folks are doing.
Once we get to a more roleplay focused series of exchanges with an NPC or an open-ended situation that does not involve corridors and doorways ... the 'choices' become less obvious, and in that narrative murkiness ... a slowdown. I suspect the game will settle into a more natural, conversational rhythm pretty soon.
Since the last encounter ended, we have settled pretty much into three 'groups' with regard to posting frequency.
-Bird and Migs lead the pack with about 15 each. -Sundial and Kisarali hold the center with about 7 -Samhain is trailing with 5.
In a perfect world, we each share a bit of the spotlight and we spread around the 'first to react' duties so that all the characters feel as if they have a stake in how the story develops.
I don't even think we have a problem to fix necessarily, but one thing I can do is slow down the rate at which I update the game until we hear from the slower players a bit more.
If you happen to be one of the quicker folks ... maybe cede the spotlight a bit. I don't mean that faster players can never respond first ... but if like ... the character in question took the lead and determined the outcome of the last five scenes, it is probably time to let someone else have the honor.

Thanks for the thoughtful response. Personally, I don' think it's a problem, but I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't overly slow. Thanks for the reassurance =)
For the encounter with Ordrax the devil, I'm assuming that everyone had a weapon drawn if they want at the beginning of the encounter. Dungeons, after all, are dangerous places.
Regarding light sources ...
@Miglasezis, Toadstool is carrying a lit torch.
@Kisarali, Ichep cast light upon a candle and is carrying it.
Regarding shields ...
@Kisarali, the last time Ichep did anything with his shield ... it was mentioned that he stowed it. Is this still the case, or will Ichep begin this encounter with shield donned?
@Sundial, Balen took the kuo-toa's shield to complete the look of his kuo-toa disguise. Will he begin this encounter with the shield donned, simply carried, or stowed?
A little bit of strategery: let's not be too hasty to get to the devil. If this spider swarm is what I think it is, it's capable of one-shotting any of us, so my suggestion would be to gang up on it first.

Toadstool will be dropping torch on the ground. Does that still work?
Regarding Toadstools shield I havent said anything about it. As he is old for an ork, he wont be letting go of his staff. So I'd say I have staff in one hand in torch in other. Shield somewhere else.
^^ I suppose dropping a lit torch could also make your day way worse ... by catching things on fire.
Like if the scene were in a ruined library with tons of paper laying around on the floor, or a castle ballroom that had a fancy carpet. But again, that is not the case here.
Added the the silver short sword to Faen's sheet.
Apparently no Holy Avenger on our first dungeon. :D
Full of monsters and evil dogs. Traps without markings. Underground. Shit loot.
2/10, would not recommend
You wound me. :(
I'm fine. Toadstool on the other hand is not enjoying this AirBnB experience.

8/10, would move in - Ichep
Let's hope he doesn't. Would need Faen's heart for that.

I‘m loving all of your posts atm :D

Understood on Toadstool having his shield stowed.
Dropping the torch (or any item) is a non-action that will not interfere with a character's action economy.
Oh, I meant differently - does a dropped torch still burns?
Yes, a torch dropped on the ground is still lit and provides light.
The narrative description of the scenery might alter this (lots of puddles, etc), but that is not the case in this room.

Sure, actions can have consequences, but not in a hundred year old dungeon :D
Gotta start making up insults for a devil and a swarm of spiders for Faen's Vicious Mockery, because his leveled spells are tapped out.
