"I agree with the lady, I also really need some rest too after that fight." He speaks in a sarcastic tone, refering to his own lack of effectivness in the fight, and laughs. "Lest my bad memory is failing me, again, we stopped back there to take a short rest, so I don't really see any trouble in doing it now..."
As the group is getting ready to sit and rest for a bit, Anton addresses Delta's question. "I can only guess where that trail leads. Since those goblins were hiding out right near the trailhead, it could be that it goes to wherever they live. If Gundren is dead... well, not to be indelicate, but there's nobody to pay us for this delivery. On the other hand, they could have him there alive. You magicians seem to be able to handle yourselves; should we go check it out while we're here? Or just continue on and sort out the question of payment later?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
" 'Course we can, we won 'gainst four of them with one fighter from our side doing nothin', I'm sure we can handle whatever comes from those trees." Gilmys takes a look inside, but something in his mind pops, and he's unsure if he might've remembered something important. It had to do with Goblin's tactics, the way their ambushes were made, uhm...
History or Nature9 (If you'd prefer another skill, just tell me, and I'll put the actual result down in this thread, I'll just use the same number I roll on that die, and change the modifier, if that's ok.)
“True and as you said, there’s not really a point to doing this job if the guy paying us isn’t alive. We did deal,” she grimaces “with those goblins pretty well.”
Sulvarax nods in agreement, "We need to find Gundren. It wouldn't be right of us to just leave him for dead when we could possibly save him." Sulvarax shrugs, "It would also be nice to receive payment for the time I'm away from my shop."

"We could camouflage the wagon in the trees with branches and the like, unhitch the Oxen hoping they will stay close (more greenery than they've seen in a while so likely) and see if we can find Gundren and his guard in there? The trail makes sense to me." She will only object to leaving them here if they are kept hitched to the cart.

As you look down the path you notice footprints back and forth, from probably a dozen or so goblins. It also appears as though 2 human sized bodies have been dragged along the path. You think back to a conversation you overheard once at a tavern in Luskan. Even in the more wild north, goblins almost never take prisoners -- they are too cowardly and its too risky. Something that scares them must have ordered them to do it.
DM Note: If/when you go down the path, i'll need a marching order as it is very narrow and you'll have to march in a single line
"You want to leave the oxen unhitched? What if they wander off?" Anton says skeptically, arching an eyebrow. But River looks determined and he's not in the mood for an argument, so he will agree and go assist her with it, as well as with the camouflage job. Once that's done, he says to the group, "Alright, ready? I'll lead the way in case we run into anything on the way." When the group is ready he will head off in front, holding out his shield on his left arm and keeping his right hand on the handle of his flail.
River will position herself last in marching order to cover the rear of the group, having the bow easily accessible. (shortbow and 5 arrows - she is proficient in the weapon)
After walking down the trail for 10 minutes, Anton comes to an abrupt halt, the rest of the group almost crashing into the back of him. In front of him is a snare partially concealed by leaves and grass.
As the snare catches his eye, Anton stops suddenly, and River bumps his back. "A trap," he says simply, pointing to the hidden snare on the ground. "Watch your feet, and keep a close eye on the ground; there could be more." Anton carefully steps around the teeth and continues down the path.

“I’m for checking it out,” Delta says quietly. “There’s no harm in at least checking. Right?”
"Sure, unless you think getting attacked again by goblins is harm. But we can handle goblins, right?" replies Anton with a bemused half smile.

Delta positions herself second to last, actively looking about and keeping a close eye on everything.
Esker, I'm going to need a Perception check and (possibly) a dex roll
