"Perhaps, we can ask about this animated ghost armor at the temple of the Bane. Would they know about this after all?"
(The temple of Eldath is the major church in Greensville. There are chapels for Umberlee near the bay docks, and one for Bane in the southern seedy part of town. Although it is not clear why clerics of Bane would be associated with animated armor at a crazy elf's house.)

Or maybe you arranged for the Portly Warthog's chef to prepare it for a victory dinner... It is big enough that Jack's Bag of Holding is almost at capacity, so you probably want to get rid of it before the next fight.
There are a lot of suggestions or ideas of what the group might do (after I posted #1685), but I need a definitive answer for what happens next.)

”alright.so here’s what we do. Trim, we’ll go buy potions. You’re paying. Then, we’ll go do something with me head. It will taste good, so I say we sell it to someone. Good money, and they get food.”
"Seems like a plan," Froskan agrees. "More coin to continue outfitting ourselves certainly couldn't hurt. And I imagine that head'll start to go bad if you keep carrying it around for much longer..."
Your party goes a bit west, closer to the docks. You are able to sell the shark meat to a fish vendor for 30 GP. (It is relatively fresh, but had some battle damage. I have added 6 GP to everyone's equipment.)
The party then goes back to the intersection, then north to the temple of Eldath. Instead of entering, you ask if there are potions for sale. An acolyte comes with two potions of healing, and the transaction is completed outside the entrance. (Trimyrai's inventory now has 2 potions of healing, and the 100 GP gem has been removed.)
(If there are no other preparations, the next post will all the way to next morning, after Pyrick's blessing of Reverie's scimitar.)

The party heads back to the inn, and has a leisurely dinner. (At least some of that discussion about future plans was over dessert.) Your group is no longer the center of attention. On the other hand, there are more new faces, as the inn is filling up with travelers arriving for the festival in 3 days.
-- Morning of the 29th of Autumn Thirdmoon --
Your group wakes up early, has a full breakfast, then walks west to get to the dwarf's shop when it opens at 9 am. Pyrick is ready to put the "Blessing of the Forge" on Reverie's scimitar. It will be a +1 weapon (to hit and damage) until Pyrick starts his next long rest (at midnight). He wishes you luck. He also suggests, after you defeat the Helmed Horror, you could bring the armor back to his shop. If it is not too badly damaged, he might be able to repair it for one of you to use.
You walk back to the intersection, then north to the wealthier part of town, then northeast. Guard patrols stop your party frequently (you are in full battle gear in a wealthy neighborhood), but they let you pass after seeing your paperwork. After an hour, you approach the Diamondbrook house. The property is over 2 acres in size, in the oldest settled area of Greensville. There is a pebble path leading to the front. There are a pair of 10' wide by 12' high iron doors as the entrance. The house is 80' x 90', two stories high, with the 2nd floor the same area as the first floor. The house had many windows in the past, but they have all been shuttered and built over, for a very long time.
(It is now 11am.)

Reverie Forestgleam—Human Paladin Level 5 in Frontier City of Nunkreet Extremely busy and busy as ever recently, but I will trying to catch up as much as I can
The front doors of iron are locked, but your party has the key. It takes a bit of effort to turn the key in the lock; it hasn't been used since the 2nd group of investigators tried to get into the house. (And they ran away. Would they have locked the front doors while fleeing?) As soon as Jack finishes saying, "Doesn’t look creepy", the hinges let out a loud rusty creak as your party opens the left door.
The air from inside is unpleasant, but of no threat. It has the chalky smell of a rock quarry, the wood of an old mansion, rotting food, and the body odor of sweaty clothes that have not been washed in a long time.
(Reverie: The PHB describes Divine Sense only working to 60', and is blocked if something is behind cover. I've let it be slightly more effective, otherwise you probably would never use it.) As soon as the door is open, Reverie activates her Divine Sense. She does not sense undead or fiends. They might be behind stone or metal to hide their presence, but she doesn't feel any of the traces of those beings.
Trimyrai has a torch lit before the door is even open. As anticipated, the house is dark (the pinpoints of light from the edges of the boarded windows is not enough to see), so the light will be helpful for the two party members without Darkvision (Reverie and Froskan).

(Your party knows the outside size of the house. The "fog of war" are the areas you haven't seen yet. A torch gives bright light to 20', dim light to 40', and some party members have Darkvision to 60'.)
The entrance area is open all the way to the house roof. The stairs going up are to your west. On the 2nd floor, there is a walkway with a low railing overlooking the stairs. To the north, a 20' wide hallway extends to the limit of your vision. There are statues on both sides of that hallway, and 4 more along the wall to your NE. There are 2 separate doors on the west side of that hallway, 2 connected doors on the east side, and a door to your east.
Iskander's weapon is giving a hum that only your party can hear, warning you that danger is near. (You can't be surprised. Everyone please give me an Initiative roll, a Perception roll, and let me know what else you want to do during this short time of waiting.)

Trimyrai uses Prestidigitation to put the torch out and then puts it away.
