Maya would lean down towards Flemig, her eyes still scanning the walls, "Can't say I see anything, but it's always worth checking right? How about you?" she'd keep a low soft voice.
"I have to agree with you Flemig, I much prefer open spaces. Preferably close to a body of water." She'd flash a smile at Flemig mentioning the forest, her voice still low. She appreciated the small chat as it did help calm some anxiety. Though when he asked if she spent much time in a cave her smile faded. "I've spent some time in a cave..." She'd let out a sigh, then notice the others were ready to move forward.
Bringing a smile to her face again, Maya would motion with her hand encouraging Flemig to move with her towards the eastern passage way with the others.
Sticking close to Maya, Flemig follows the group towards the Eastern passageway, looking very excited to be moving but at the same time moving as quietly as possible.
Khlöe uses one of the spikes to a carve crude eye on each of the walls as the group moves on. She doesn't want to lose track of one quick exit much less get lost in the tunnels.

Tanirall takes the lead down the hall listening for anything as he goes down at a leisurely pace. He’ll stop at the juncture listening for other occupants before turning down that path.
If he hears something, Tanirall will motion for the party to wait instead and relay what he hears to the others.

Tanirall, Lvl. 1 Half-Orc Paladin, Adventurers for Hire
Zansnut follows Tanirall in second position so if they get caught he could pretend like he was directing them, but at the same time look like a prisoner to outside eyes. He keeps his ears open to any danger that they may be walking in to.

Maya would walk up in third position, holding her flame away. She'd place her free hand on the wall and close her eyes to listen if she could hear anything.
If Maya would hear anything, she'd let the others know. If she doesn't hear anything, she would take a peek around the corner.
OCC: Updated the map to something I can reveal a bit better. Keep in mind you are in a cave and "walls" and passageways are rough, not nice and square. Where you don't see walls, is areas not revealed. Let me know if this style is better for you.
The northern passage leads you north-east 25 feet before opening up. From the change in sound and echoes, you can tell you have entered a very large and open cavern. The ceiling is lost to your torchlight. Ahead, and slightly to the right, a large column of stone rises to the ceiling. Light can be seen to the east and the echo of voices.
To Kasian: Can we make out what the voices are saying?
If not:
Flemig nods at Allistar in agreement, then whispers "Maybe one of the more stealthy of us should see if they can sneak towards the east to make out what the voices are saying, while the rest of the group stays out of earshot of whomever owns the voices"

"I got this. if I get discoveeed I have the best chance to talk my way out of it." zansnut didnt wait for the agreement of the party. he walked past Tanriel and snuck around to the east as Flemig had suggested. He held his hooded lantern in the lift as dim as he could get without comprimising his vision and the pick axe in his right hand.
Proceeding east, and away from the torchlight, you darkvision reveals more of the cave. There are four great columns of stone rising from the floor, and a passageway leading to the southeast. When you reach the easternmost edge of the southeastern column (blue), you can see the silhouettes and hear the voices of two humans seated facing the massive cave entrance to the east. From their distorted voices and the rattling, you deduce they are playing dice.

Maya would get a little antsy waiting for Zansnut to come back with an update. She would begin to slightly pace back and forth, slowly, in the current corridor with her comrades. Maya really appreciated Khloe marking the walls down the paths they’ve already been, it’s something to prevent getting lost, but she couldn’t help but feel like she could use a visual aid. Patting a finger on her nose as she pondered, Maya would whisper, “One of you wouldn’t happen to have something to write with would you?” As she asked, she would look around and scan the ground to see if she could find a piece of chalky rock that may be able to draw a crude map or path of the tunnels they’ve discovered so far if one of her comrades didn’t have. It’d be a way of updating Kwon’s original reports even, she thought.

This is a natural cavern which has been expanded and picked over, leaving only the occasional fist sized rock.

Flemig, walking behind/beside Maya, would prefer to explore the northern tunnel first, but will defer to the group leader!
