We all go or we all take the supplies to town. I don’t like the idea of waiting another day to get back here though. It’ll be a mission of vengeance instead of a rescue. But leaving one Goliath, even one as mighty as X, here is potentially signing his death warrant. There could be another 20 goblins camped nearby and they are going to start wondering where the 4 from yesterday are. We need to do this now ir come back with more people.
if they wanted them dead they would already be dead. We know the goblin was running away north so that is where he felt safe. It would be wiser to go find information and get supplies since our young book keeper here has no food. We were also hired to deliver this cart to a provisions place and not gulden himself. They might have our payment we could use for preparing ourselves for this mission. Gulden knew what he was getting himself into when he traveled ahead of us. And like I said if the goblins wanted him dead he would be dead already.
So, there will be a cart with oxen, ready to leave from the tavern tomorrow morning. You'll be paid on arrival at Barthen's Provisions in Phandalin. Um... any questions?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Thank you for the food Kylara , umm... until you guys decide what you are going to do i'll go and try to find some more food for myself. I think i'll be back in 1 of 2 hours.

i don't know what i had to roll to find food but these three seem to make sens (i don't care that i have to rations form Kylara i want more food)
well I think you should have someone go with you and search for food, also lets keep an eye out for anything I can use as a healing tincture or potion (medicine is +4)
I think I will try to hide the oxena dn cart in the bushes over yonder.
I cast mold earth as many times as needed to cover the tracks of the wagon and oxen, and gather some branches that have fallen to better line the view of this cart.

This occurs during the same time that Soron is gone and I (would assume) someone will assist him so we can get moving faster.
Also Soron mentioned the tea I made and I still am waiting on a response from the others
Soron, you are able to forage for food as the party travels; no need for a separate journey. You manage to find some berry bushes, some mushrooms that you can identify as safe, and some strangely-shaped roots you read about in a book you found in the south which are surprisingly hard but which you know will be delicious when cooked properly. All together, you find the equivalent of 6 rations.
Kylara, you take the reigns and guide the cart, slowly and carefully, back to the Triboar Trail. The dead horses still block the cart's path, but together you are able to push them to the side sufficient for the cart to pass. The party heads east; there are fewer and fewer forested areas, but the land is getting less flat, and you can see hills the south, and snow-peaked mountains behind them. After a few hours, you come upon the place where the road to Phandalin turns off to the south, and you turn to follow it.
Demetrio walks about 10 feet ahead of the cart. He is trying to peak into the distance trying to see Phandalin.(DM can I see it and what does it look like from here).
Demetrio, you can't see the town yet; the trail winds up into the hills and out of sight; you still have half a day's travel at least. The scene is beautiful, though; the land is wild - there's no sign of habitation but the trail itself, but also peaceful. You see three high mountain peaks directly to the south, the highest in the centre. There are birds in the sky - swallows you think, flying north.
Can I swap with anyone to search for herbs and rations while we travel? (mainly herbs but why not pick up something useful if possible)
(also if I know medicine, then then I know the plants ect. to make a poison possibly?) (example, this makes you sleepy when added to a potion, this makes you vomit, ect.)
Kylara says Solon, can we get eyes in the sky and you ride on the cart with me?not wanting to walk into another trap.
Yes , i can do that. I will be blind and deaf while doing so but i'll be able to tell you what i see. Odinn will be making 5 circles around us at 150 ft in the air then land and repeat until we reach our destination.
(each time Odinn comes back he lands on Soron's shoulder, Soron feeds him a couple of berries that he gathered , he eats a few himself then Odinn goes back into the air)

Demetrio takes over driving for kylara. This happens while Soron is blind and deaf from scouting with Odinn.
Kylara, make a nature check on the subject of poisons.
Soron, there isn't really a lot to see beyond what Demetrio saw, but later on in the day, Odinn is able to make out the village of Phandalin, a small settlement of around fifty houses, seemingly built amid some ruins of an earlier settlement.
The cart winds its way up the trial, which is not well used but is safe and easy to navigate. You are climbing hills, but the slope is not too steep, and Phandalin, when you finally reach it, is not so high as you might have expected.
You enter the small town in the middle of the afternoon; there's no-one on the streets at the moment, at least not that you can see. You are coming from the north, along what might pass for the main street of the town. Up ahead, it appears that the street opens into a square perhaps, some sort of large area. As you go, you notice that a shop on the left side of the road has a wooden sign nailed to the wall, reading 'Barthen's Provisions'. The shop door is open.
That also brings up the question, we got some money from the goblins, but also how much starting coin did we each have? the standard 10 gold?

(Starting gold varies according to background; some have more than others.)

Maybe our book keeper can eat his books Kylara jokes, handing him 2 days worth of rations (add this to your inventory)

I have to agree with Demetrio... we should deliver the supplies to Phandalin first and then come back here, if we are going to come back

OK fine we’ll go to Phandalin first, but if they are both dead and come to haunt you I won’t exorcise them. Well not for free anyway.
Steinarr gets into the cart and starts grumbling to himself.
