Iggy shrugs. "I can do it if nobody else wants to, man." He opens the door cracks the door and peeks through the narrow opening with one, large round eye.

Shadowlight moves to the turn and sees that the tunnel travels about ten feet then turns back north again. A sound does come to his ears though, a soft sound, like a wind blowing. It seems to be getting louder though.

Shadowlight would go to the next turn to see if he can see the source of the sound then double time it back to Rurik to report.
Iggy smirks. "Hey doggie. You wanna show me what you saw? I could hitch a ride as a weasel or something cool." A shimmer goes across his face and he winks at the rest of the party.

(OOC I am just now rereading about the find steed spell. I didn’t know we could speak telepathically up to a mile...I’ll have to remember this. I would have just had Shadowlight stay there and give a play by play until he was in danger and then return if this is still a viable option)
“You’re funny turtle, but your question was wasted. He only speaks dwarvish. I think if ya want to go with him, we could all just go, unless you’re meaning to take a peek first?”
“Sorry Ellya, he didn’t see anything. However he did say that he heard a soft sound. Almost like wind blowing. But it was getting louder. I don’t know if something is coming or building up. Either way, we should probably just go. He says there’s some hallway to go through first, seems clear enough. Although he’s no sneak thief that would know that for sure, ha,” responds Rurik as he prepares himself for the hallway route.
At the next corner Shadowlight sees another 30 foot long hall, that again turns 90 degrees up ahead. Rurik would recognize this as a common defense against ranged attacks.
At this corner the sound of the wind is getting even louder. After a few more moments this comes around the corner into Shadowlight's sight.

As Shadowlight spots the air elemental coming down the next section of the hall, the secret door behind Rurik and Iggy opens and you spot several figures coming in, but are quickly put at ease as you see the symbol of your own franchise on their gear. There is no time for pleasantries though, as the sound of the on-rushing elemental grows louder.
Everyone roll initiative.

Situation: Rurik's paladin mount, currently in the shape of a mastiff, has spotted an air elemental coming towards the group. The main group is in a hallway that runs to a 90 degree turn 30 feet ahead. That tunnel then ran ten feet before turning and heading back north. The air elemental is at the far end of that second 30 feet long north tunnel, which puts it about 70 feet from the group right now, and out of line of sight of anyone but Shadowlight.

Stigr Lightpunch is a tall, thin, dirty young man. He's wearing a fairly new breastplate over unwashed clothing and his hair is short cut and hard to tell the color under the grease, his skin is fairly pale, clearly doesn't get much sun, he also is carrying a new looking shield and a strange steel rod adorned with runes as well as a satchel bag with the company emblem over his shoulder and a few pouches on his belt. The group with him also knows that his familiar currently shaped as a an imp is invisibly racing ahead to scout and reporting back its findings.

A tortle of average height follows behind Stigr, carrying a light crossbow and you can see silver painted moons covering his shell. he steps inside the hallway and then shifts to the right to let others get in behind him as he cautiously moves down the hallway.

Rurik Initiative 6 Shadowlight Initiative 1
As you enter you see a mountain dwarf standing at 4’8” his dark brown dreads falling over his chainmail armor. What makes the sight a bit unusual is the long sword he is wielding compared to the hammer or axe a dwarf normally brandishes. His shield has a bright emblem of Torm (a white right hand gauntlet) covering it. He sees you and smirks.
“The company send ya? Good. We’ve had some trouble and lost a few in the process. We could use ya here. My steed, Shadowlight, is up ahead scouting and says there’s a thing aways up. Way he’s describing it, sounds like an elemental.”

A curly, red-haired, clean-chinned dwarven woman enters, donned in leathers and feathers. Breathing heavily and brandishing her great axe, she turns to the group. "Present! Yes, the company sent me. The name is Samantha Oktobrewfist. This elemental is clearly an obstacle - let's clear it."

Bringing up the rear is a young elf Even in the dim light, his coppery hair and golden eyes shine. He wears a satchel with the company logo and carries at his side a rapier with an elaborate birdcage gaurd in addition to a pair of daggers worn upon his belt. On his back he wears a leather map case, which can be seen over his shoulder. Upon his other shoulder sits an owl of white plumage, with feathers of myriad golden and brown hues upon its back (it's a barn owl). His hands sport shining gauntlets, while his face and neck are adorned with a stylized cat tattoo. Upon close inspection one could discern that it is a snow leopard, but without good lighting, at best it is the suggestion of a feline face (think of the symbol on the sword of omens). "Good morrow! Trinaster Filamoyn at your service. What's the situation here?"
Ok, we are going to do initiative a bit differently here. Your group beat the elemental, on average, so you go first. There is no initiative order for you, I will take the actions as they are posted, and that will be the order in which they happen. Once all of your actions are posted, then the elemental will get its turn. we will see how this works out for us and see if it helps or not.
For now, all the majority of you hear is the sound of some oncoming wind noise. Rurik has told Iggy what it is already, but the new people might not know yet. Right now the elemental is out of sight, a 30 feet long hall in front of you, then a ten foot jog to the right, then another 30 feet long hall which is where the elemental is now. Iggy and Rurik can get into sight, and do a ranged attack, this round, while the others have 40 feet of movement to get into sight of the elemental.
Post your round actions.

You see a hall that runs at an angle, then seems to turn to the right about 20 feet ahead.
