There aren't many flying creatures with you, except maybe 50 sprites. There are those who can summon flying creatures, like you, but also not many of them. You could get maybe 48 giant owls, in addition to what the party could summon. The korred suggests tunneling underground. Some of the fools suggest breaking the dam and flooding the stockade, others advise disguising everyone as a bush and moving toward the stockade when the gnolls aren't paying attention. "Every time they look over the wall, they'll just think the bushes are growing back. Then they turn around and we run closer!"

Well hurm Del makes a proposalIt seems to me like attacking from everywhere at once gives the enemy the least leverage. We spread around the clearing then attack from all sides at once. 56 of us fly in on owls, plus Sir Edwin on his boots and Lord Mindartis under a spell from Flitterbug; we take on the bosses and otherwise hamper the defense. Lord Quentin takes Sister Raven and Dimension Doors to the inside, for a timely sneak attack and some disruptive spells. Maybe our korred friend starts burrowing as we spread out, so he and some gnomes could burst forth and cause trouble after the gnolls are engaged from the outside. And we hope the inner defenders realize what is happening and add another direction of attack.

"I have those potions as well. Perhaps we make Mindartis an even bigger force on the field." Quentin suggest showing the potion of growth, "And then I'll save this other one for a big spell." He adds showing the potion of maximum power. "I'm fine with an assault like this as long as we don't become too spread out. Now, let's go see what damage we can do."
As the party moves nearer to the target, Raven hears the extremely stealthy step of a band of Gnoll patrollers...she estimates about 30 of them.

Does it seem like they will cross path with our troops or will they pass by without issue? If they are going to come into contact, then she'll slip back to warn the others, before moving forward to the attack.
They are not on a collision course, but they are clearly looking for enemies in the forest, and it will be hard for them to miss hundreds of foot soldiers, horsemen and fey, however quiet they are...and not al your allies arel trying to be quiet.

Elwin nodded to himself at Del's and Quentin's suggestions--although he forgot to respond to them directly. He was too focused on the coming conflict; but he at least attempted to remember to spread out as they approached.

We have then 20 to one, no need to be clever Del reacts, getting kind of tired of fancy tactics Archery and cantrips? Save the big stuff for the big battle? Maybe they will come out 30 at a time and make it easy for us
Suppose somebody gonna wanna see an Initiative if the others agree to get down 20

Yeah, you are back with the others: the gnolls didn't see a thing as you ghosted past them to warn your friends. I assume you are all riding at the front of the army? (I didn't miss that roll, Del went ahead and started discussing strategy, so I assumed he correctly took the 30 stealth as an obvious success, and let it go from there. )
You all also have a lot of people you can give orders to.

Del stays as far away as he can get a decent shot, hopefully along with a bunch of the archers, and takes a double Blast at whichever patroller looks the poshest: first 15 doing 10 doing 7

What I meant was Raven was not staying with the group. As soon as she gave her account she would be heading out to sneak back up on the enemy. If she needs a new stealth roll then...
