This is probably the wrong spot and if it is admin please move to right area
So this is a section for Rping chose a class and race and it's like play by post but no rolls everything will be considered by dm so whoever wants to start and kick it off go ahead
I would like to play a Kobold Rogue named Halitrad Vutha Vepeks, Halli for short!
Halli has mostly brown scales, with a large black patch on her nose. She is 2'4" and of a relatively light build. She tries to keep a low profile, but sometimes her emotions (and greed) get the best of her. She has been in human settlements ever since a group of adventurers had spared her.
My name is Corvus, I am a half-elf, about 5 foot 11inch, bark brown hair with brown eyes. (Now sure how much background or stats you want) I'm a fighter, but I'm seeking out something far greater than just strength, well not my own strength.
I come into the city on the back of a merchant's wagon without them noticing awhile back on the road not knowing where it was going. As the wagon stops I slip off and begin to look around

Don't piss me off. I'm close to leveling and you look like just enough EXP
Well met! The name's Klaussauth, but you may call me Dimscale. I'm a gold dragonborn, standing 6 ft 7 in, with violet eyes, and gold scales that have faded to black in some areas, due being raised in Shadowside, a small settlement in the Shadow Plane. My undying patron Larloch the Shadow King has granted me a second lease on "life" and provided me with a wellspring of eldritch power. After being spared the same fate as my people in Shadowside, my patron whisked me away to the Material Plane and dropped me off here...but to what end? Looking upon the sun of this realm, burns my eyes but strangely soothes my soul...at least what's left of it.
I have my gear (scholar's pack), some coin, sturdy leather armor, a couple daggers, an adamantine orb (my arcane focus), my father's heavy mace, and my mother's spear.
Curious as well. I know you said this will be focused on Roleplay with no rolls, but a stat block may give the DM an idea of abilities and chance for success in many situations.

As I sit in the corner of the tavern , a robed Wizard of divination , looking across the cavern I spot Corvus and walk over . As I get there :" Hello young/old one ... i have foreseen great adventure with you , I am Aloush of Divination and pleased to have meet you "

I do not know what this signature does for me , but cool , here , I have one one also ... Yey , me cool now ? :D
OOC: You don't neccesarily need a DM for this kind of RP. You just need to set some basic ground rules.
I would suggest something like:
1. Each poster can have 1 Player Character. The creator of a Player Character has full agency over what happens to them. For example, if they are attacked it is up to them whether they evade or get hit.
2. Anyone can create Generic NPCs. Generic NPCs can be interacted with freely and controlled by anyone.
3. Anyone can make Major NPCs. Major NPCs are only directly controlled by the person that made them.
PC (Corvus): "Well met Wizard, it seems the fates are being kind to me. I hope this adventure you speak of is the one I seek. Come let us sit and talk in private. "
As we walk to an area to speak, I grab two pints of honey ale. Once sat at the table I slide one pint to the Wizard, and lean in.
"So this vision quest you see. Is there a fiend involved?"

Bah! But ya don' pay attention to this money grabbing buffoon of a weasel! (yell a light build dwarf with blood red beard and silvery blue eyes pulling the Merchant away from the table and sitting at the table next to the newly met adventurers).
Me name is Duggan Stonelock of the Wayfinder Guild and am an expert explorer and guide, with underground/underdark experience looking for some locks to open, traps to disable and a lot of ale to have and tales to tell. Well met me friends! Did I hear some divining of gatherings and adventures?!
(Duggan is a shield dwarf rogue, son of the Locksmith clan of Lion's Den that joined the Wayfinder Guild back at home, a guild specialized in tracking, exploring and discovering new underground tunnels. He just left his home after a tragic accident where part of his company was buried from a tunnel collapse. Even though there was no deaths, most of his company needed clerical care, so left his home in a bit of shame and decided to hone his skills more before coming back)
Name's Azazel, don't forget it, you may never hear it again. I have many fine wares for you. This? A potion that will surely cure your lack of courage. This on the other hand is said to have the ability to make you absolutely and uniquely beautiful--But only in complete darkness. If you fall for these ploys, may Baator's nine hells take you. I am a conman by trade, but you would think people more cautious of a Tiefling's promises.
It wasn't all that long ago that I ran into a Wizard's apprentice. One thing lead to another, and soon he was selling me his spellbook and wand for my "legendary" potion that could make anyone fall in love with the person who drank the other half. It was mere red coloured liquid, but he was not too difficult to convince. This new book had strange notes which I quickly grasped. As a child, I never realized how interesting and useful wizard magic was.
I mastered the basics in the span of a few weeks, continuing to travel away from where I had found the wizard in training. I must avoid him at all costs now once he realizes what he gave up for what was truly a mundane trinket, and so not I wander and make new offers, aided by my newfound magic to trick my targets.I can offer you my services, for a price of course.
Azazl's eyes glow a gentle opaque red while horns protrude from his forehead like those of a goat's, a thick leathery tail protrudes from his clothing. Upon a closer look, one would notice Azazel fails to cast a shadow on the ground, a sign of his fiendish heritage.
Time out.... where is everyone. I'm guessing my character (Corvus) and Aloush are in a tavern about to talk about my upcoming adventure (starting to form a party if he isn't a NPC)
Dimscale and Duggan are in the tavern but at the table next to where myself and Aloush sit? And where is Azazel? Just yelling between us?
We need a way to identify between PC, NPC and Minor NPC (MNPC) also be more descriptive.

OOC: Dimscale would be sitting at a commons table enjoying a bit of scotch and a smoke on his pipe after finishing a meal. He was minding his business when a merchant came up to him. He was about to speak when the merchant was rudely shoved away by Duggan.
PC (Dimscale): looks curiously at the dwarf and takes another draw off his pipe...exhales and replies --- "Well good dwarf, the name is Klaussauth, but ye can call me Dimscale. My own expertise lies in arcane and extraplanar lore, a collector of knowledge you could say." --- He pauses and places his right hand on the hilt of his mace, with a toothy smile --- "and skilled enough to protect my pockets from shady information brokers" --- looking past the dwarf at the merchant with a knowing gaze
Duggan raises his glass to Dimscale, nudge Aloush, sitting at his side, with all his dwarvish politeness and says: Now that is someone who knows the way of things here!
He continues: Go on now young man, tell us about that Divination youself had! Was it about treasure? An adventure in the dungeons of the abandoned keep on the hill just south of town or was it about a nice evening making friends and tale telling in this tavern?! And you there Dimscale, join us and explain what in Moradin's name is a extraplanar lore!
A young elf (honestly, who can tell how old she really is?) enters the tavern. She is tall, 5' 11", with long blonde hair tied back from her face. There's a bow strapped to her back, and she looks road-worn. She took a moment to brush dust from her leathers, then scanned the room with silver eyes that almost glowed. After taking in the room, she moved to the bar, ordered an ale, and sat watching the movements of its patrons.

Would you like us to post an entire stat block?
---Architect of Worlds, Destroyer of Dreams
Right. I was suspecting the DM was doing localized rolls and a stat block would definitely help.
Nope no rolls this is pure rp purposes I wasn't intending to be the dm I was going to be a player
Are you, then, looking for a PbP DM?
