The combination of Bert and Erven (despite the broom enjoying 3/4 cover and Erven not having flanking position) is enough to destroy the magical energies fueling the broom. The pieces clatter to the floor.
Combat is over!
Erven you can see there are 6 Healing potions and another 2 vials of holy water, some perfumes and nice smelling bath salts, and there are enough things here to make 2 healers kits. There is some makeup items but not enough to be a disguise kit.
Talion waits a few moments, and as he does so he checks that the dog is indeed still a dog before examining the clawed bath. First he checks to see if it's free-standing, then tentatively checks its weight, to see if he could lift it.
When he is confident that no other household appliances are likely to attack, he too investigates the store room. "Perhaps distribute the potions; I'm out and that's enough for each of us to have two."
He then assembles the cosmetics and stuffs them in a pillow case, and into his pack. It's beginning, at least! He take the clean cloth and cleaning fluids and other items for the healers kits, and some pillow cases to store them in, out of the store room and into the bathroom to assemble while the others continue to investigate.

Alrighty. Make sure you mark down on your character sheet what you took and have in inventory and all that.
Onyx creaks open the door slightly - the room is the same as you saw before: choked with cobwebs and dust - though it seems like more cobwebs than before. Ahead of you is a small balcony, the entrance to which is nearly impassable due to the spider webs. To the west, you notice at least 2 doors on a northern wall. To the south, you can also see another door. All wooden doors. The shadows in this room seem to move on their own. Onyx, you start to feel a slight pulse from the sword, as before......
"I wonder what animated horrors those hide..." As Talion nears the top of the stairs, a spectral had moves toward the nearest webs, pausing briefly to allow his companions to object. In the absence of objections, Talion remains behind Onyx but tries to pull away the webs to see what lies beneath.

((Onyx was feeling a little hungry and parched, but he wouldn't eat anything he sees here anyway, so nevermind.))
Onyx's grip tightens around 'the sentinel' - natural cobwebs didn't get that big. He glances around the room, waiting for everyone else to ready themselves.

[just a note of sorts - as I see it, onyx has opened the door and You’re all sort of peering in - is that correct? And Talion is moving the web around? Or do you mean to be in the room?]
"Let us get moving." Sho offers. Behind the stairs he only catches glimpses of the cobwebs that filled the room, with giant armoured Onyx towering and blocking the entry he really couldn't see much beyond that. He gives up on trying to peek around Onyx's shoulder and leans back himself, crossing his arms and waiting for others to move in eventually.
Bertolt seems to be on a bit more of a confident state now that the broom had been dealt with, keeping the crossbow at the ready as he follows the others. "If we come across any large spiders I elect to burn this house to ashes..."
Talion nods at Bertolt's comment, "Already plan to...bats, rats, spiders..." he shakes his head then glances back to the bard, grinning, "Bathtub will probably survive the fire."
Erven, as you peer in the room and down the hall, you stifle a gasp. Ahead of you, in a tangle of of web, you can see the furry outline of a huge spider! Down the hall, just visible on the wall, is another furry outline - another spider you recognize as a wolf spider.
Talion, as your mage hand moves the webs that cover the space directly in front of you, the spider reacts to the movement by scrunching up a bit and then climbing up the wall onto the ceiling. Erven, you see this happen and quickly look down the hall - the spider you saw a moment ago is gone! Your eyes train upwards and you notice it is advancing on your position!

Onyx calmly steps back, letting everyone else move about as he gets back outside the room.
"Anything useful in there? I'll take a look once you're done picking through it all."

Alas, the bath is just a bath. Onyx - anything in particular you're looking for?
Nothing dangerous or threatening presents itself in either of the rooms - it seems like this floor has been cleared...

Erven peeks around Onyx, looking to see if he can see anything moving in the dark - looking hard at the cobwebs.

(I would say Onyx has taken one step in but hasn't started wading through the webs yet. There seems to be enough room for him.)
