I also submitted a helpdesk ticket and they just got back with me.
They manually added the license to my account, if anyone wishes to have this resolved as soon as possible I would recommend this route, make sure to include your order number and your proof of purchase receipt in the ticket.
Thank you for your patience! The issue accessing The Lord of the Ring Roleplaying should be resolved. If you continue to experience this issue please contact our support team.
When selecting Crafts for my Scholar, if I choose Weapon-Craft I am unable to choose Sword or Short-Sword (both of which are Finesse, and would qualify for the added benefit of Weapon-Craft). The only sword in the list is the Longsword, which is not Finesse.
Public Mod Note
(spamandtuna):
Fixed (LOTR's "Short Sword" is mechanically identical to D&D's "Shortsword", so a separate item was not created.)
Public Mod Note(spamandtuna): The feature does not grant expertise in Investigation; if it did it would say so. Could not reproduce the loss of Investigation proficiency; selecting the subclass left mine intact.
(There sure are a lot of these so far ... and I'm finding them with a single character attempt!)
The Scholar Tradition Lore says:
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Old Lore skill and with calligrapher’s supplies. If you are already proficient in any one of them, you add double your proficiency bonus to checks you make with it.
However, instead of advancing my previously selected proficiency in Investigation to expertise, it instead removed it, prompting me to choose a different proficiency altogether.

The Character Builder insists on choosing a Background. That mechanic is not used in the LOTR game.
Even worse, the backgrounds you must choose between are solely those of the new 2024 core rules, granting an Origin Feat, whereas the LOTR game does not use feats at all.
Public Mod Note
(spamandtuna):
This is working as designed. LOTR backgrounds can be selected on the Species tab.
At least leather corslet and leather shirt are not interacting correctly with armor proficiency from (at least) the Warden class. Giving disadvantage to skills as if not proficient.
I'll be honest ... I rather regret this purchase. I don't think it, and Beyond, are a good fit for each other; this system is radically different from 5E on many fronts, and honestly needs it's own, completely separate character sheet and character builder.
1. Messenger class, 2nd level: indicates that you can have a craft or virtue, but does not give you the ability to choose one. A virtue can be chosen at level 4.
2. Messenger class, 3rd level: tries to make you choose a reward, but that shouldn’t even be an option.
3. Arguably a feature request: at 1st level Messenger, gives you 4 options to choose skills, but only the non-LOTR options exist. If you can’t prefill the LOTR choices, at least let us add custom ones.
I have to concur with an earlier poster - I already regret this purchase. If there had been any indication of how incomplete and buggy the character sheet support for this system was, I’d never have bought it. I didn’t sign up to be an alpha tester (because seriously, this isn’t even at a beta level of quality).
Can this book work in conjunction with the 2014 rules? Because my table enjoys the 2014 rules better and I don't wanna purchase this book if I can only use it with the content in the book.
the book states that every class gets certain items given to them by the chosen background (backgrounds are part of class choice instead of actually choosing the background) but those items are not anywere to be found during character creation
Public Mod Note
(spamandtuna):
The items need to be manually added to the character sheet.
Working now for me
My Lord of the Rings content just showed up in my DnDBeyond account!
Thank you to the help team and coders for resolving this so quickly.

BUG!
So, building a first character, with the Scholar calling. It says, in the character builder:
... however, the new-in-this-product skills Old Lore, Riddle, and Travel are not available to choose as proficiencies in any of the drop-downs.

Using a finesse weapon such as a scimitar on a Scholar with Weapon-Craft does not allow me to use the mental ability stats for attack rolls.
The link to the character sheet in the index of the book is broken.

The virtue dour-handed is giving expertise on attack rolls but only on barding
Just purchased this but do not see the option during character creation despite having the license and being fully synced, all partnered content is on
PrincessPastelf, just so you know, your Search Form link is not working, so here is a link that does properly work for this thread: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/search?search-thread-id=211409
Also, where are all of the magic items from Chapter 7 of the book? I can't find any of them when I search in the Magic Items tab?
The virtue/craft drop down menu is missing at level 6 as well. Rewards are correct. In chapter 4, it says rewards are given at levels 3,5,7,9.
One of the people in my group has purchased this supplement and is sharing with the group via our campaigns.
I can access the book text, but none of the character options appear for me in the builder despite being selected on the character home page.
