Is there a reason the Beastmaster's new Primal Companion doesn't appear under the optional rules on the Ranger class page? It's a pain going to the book for the stat blocks
Is there a reason the Beastmaster's new Primal Companion doesn't appear under the optional rules on the Ranger class page? It's a pain going to the book for the stat blocks
Without actually looking at it, I'm inclined to say that its not supported. To take a page from the recent Dev Updates, "ultimately its something they want to do, when the *insert non-existent name for generic features* gets released."
What bothers me is that no successful development company would ever have a massive project overhaul and not have a name for it. Approaching it that way, makes it very difficult to get people on the same page. So, logically, the fact that they DON'T even know what to call it, means that it's still in the "planning" phase.

Can't believe I gave money to this website when half the shit isn't even implemented

Probably because that's the only subclass with optional features and they weren't sure where to put it. I do wish it were there. The stat block is accessible on the character sheet, though.

It's at least partially supported on the character sheet, as in you can see the statblock if you click on that feature on the sheet.
As for the "insert name" feature system, the reason for "insert name" is because the developers were initially calling it the "generic feature system," but folks in chat on the Dev updates and/or Joe (head of video & article type content) decided that name was too unexciting and started calling it the "universal feature system"; I think there's also a third name floating out there (or maybe Joe's was something else, and "universal" was the third name). So, among those who watch the Dev Updates, there's a running joke about the name of the feature system. Those same updates, however, have indicated that the feature system is under active development.

Running joke or not, the content sold on DnDBeyond is implied to be supported. A new player coming in and dropping hundreds of dollars on a legendary bundle only to find that many features are not supported is simply bad business. Aside from forums and extensive Google searches there is no way to tell what features are supported and what is currently not supported until after purchase and utilization.
There really needs to be a disclaimer that not all features are currently supported, but that's not going to happen because it scares away potential customers.
As for the Dev Updates, i've seen them. "Insert name features" gets glossed over every time with a "yeah, its coming" followed with an "eventually". Don't believe me? Go to YouTube and time how much time is actually spent discussing the general features. You'll also notice there's alot of talk about "what they want to happen." That's tech speak for, we just don't know yet.
In mobile (only in mobile) on Android, the Tasha's spell "Summon Fey" is being listed for the Bard and Ranger lists.
On Web it is not listed.
When looking at Optional Class Features for Bard, it is not on the list there of added spells (it's new for Tasha's), and when looking at the Web inline spell text, that matches the Web list and indicates it's not available for Bard and Ranger.

The Summon Fey spell (and a few others) in the mobile app are showing incorrect classes - this is already logged under the mobile team and is waiting for a book repackage to update.
So I am for some reason not able to learn Investement of the Chain Master on my lvl 3 Warlock. Tasha's Cauldron of Everything is owned by our DM and he shares it with us through the campaign, but for some reason it wont appear on the dropdown menu of Eldritch Invocations. Yes, I've learned Pact of the Chain.
I saw a thread about this problem, but didn't realy get the solution. It was something about buying the genie subclass. But can you even do that? And I mean, we can use the whole content through the sharing mechanism of the complete book, so the subclass should be included.
Ok for some reason it worked now. I was fiddling around with a copy of my character, to test out how to level up in DNDB. I did join the campaign, but for some reason the sharing didn't work. I just tried it again and it worked. Maybe it needed a little time to enable the sharing/ registering in the campaign. For now at least i can join the campaign with a different copy of the character and it works instantly. . .
However, thanks for the feedback! I didn't find a sync button though, it only said it was in sync already.
Does anyone know how to apply the Radiant Weapon infusion to the Infiltrator Armor: Lightning Launcher. According to the feature description it counts as a simple ranged weapon so it should fit the criteria for the Radiant Weapon infusion.
I am trying to build a Battlesmith Artificer and when I manage feats it only gives me the option to list those that are unavailable.
Have you purchsed official feats and/or sources containing feats on D&D Beyond? Or, are you building this artificer within a campaign in which that content is being shared with you?
I am in a campaign where my DM has this purchased, but I still don't have access to the fathomless patron in the character builder
Is your character IN the campaign? Does the DM (or someone else in the campaign) have content sharing turned on? if answer to both questions is yes, ask the person who turned on sharing to turn it off and then back on again.
Searching for "Might of the Master" gives me a ton of unrelated results, and I don't see a way to specify to only search for the phrase instead of each word.
That said, it doesn't seem like the Homunculus Servant ability Might of the Master correctly factors in the bonus from its master proficiency bonus, when accessed in the Extras tab of the character sheet. This is from the Artificer infusion from Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.
Lol.
There's going to be a new edition of Dungeons and Dragons before they get the Tasha's features implemented.
I'm waiting for the one year mark where they haven't posted an update from Tasha. So Feb next year?
Is there a reason the Beastmaster's new Primal Companion doesn't appear under the optional rules on the Ranger class page? It's a pain going to the book for the stat blocks
Considering yesterday's panel regarding "the next evolution) this is suddenly relevant.

You are not alone in that feeling.
