I was using a random table generator for some possible plot hooks for my group and one I got is this.
Required, someone to meet me to hurl abuse, insults and harsh words at me. Discuss payment at meeting point.
Yes it's from a DnD random generator table. No it's not some messed up site (the list included some standard quests like escort missions and monster slaying)
Any ideas what could be going on and why someone would want that?
I was leaning towards a bard who gets heckled a lot on stage so he wants to learn to heckle back, be able to take insults without wavering his performance and master the vicious mockery cantrip.
Any other ideas, no matter how mundane or unorthodox they are
What's the tone of your game? If it's less serious, then my mind immediately goes to old Shooty McShootface from Borderlands. He gives you a quest to shoot him in the face. When you do, the quest ends and you succeed. It's all dumb fun, nothing beyond surface level.
If your game is at all serious, I'd scrap the idea and come up with a new one honestly lol.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
