I want to suggest the addition of a text box on each drop down in a campaign's chapter.
I often find the online pre-made campaign books to be hard to use because I cannot take/add notes to specific areas of the campaign. This means I have to click back and forth between sections, or scroll up and down, to locate information quickly for my players when I could have compiled it all how I prefer.
For example, in The Shatter Obelisk in Chapter 6 there is a section called "The Sinister Truth" which has this at the end of it: (Minor spoilers for The Shattered Obelisk)
"The Sawplee goblins indirectly served three mind flayers that draw power from a malevolent Far Realm godlet named Ilvaash. Using their godlet as a warped sort of elder brain, these mind flayers are even more alien than others of their kind. (For more information, see chapter 7.)"
If there was a text box where I could leave notes, I could notate each section of the campaign where I deem that information to be revelant instead of having to locate this information manually. I do not want to have to navigate to chapter 7 while my players are in chapter 6, I'd rather be able to copy information - or even homebrew new events/NPCs - into the campaign directly.
With physical copies I can do this by writing in the margins.

Chapter 6:
Kidnapped Townspeople
If stopping the threat against Phandalin isn’t enough motivation for the characters, concern about the still-missing townspeople should prompt them to follow the previous chapter’s clues. The characters rescued some kidnapped townspeople in chapter 5, but there are eleven people still missing, and the locations on the goblins’ map are the only leads about where these victims might be. The characters won’t find these victims in this chapter, but they will find them later in the adventure.
Why do I need to navigate backwards to Chapter 5 to get the kidnapped victims names if I forget them? I'd love to be able to notate the info from chapter 5 here instead.
I mean, you're aware that note-taking extensions for internet browsers exist right? Personally, I have a physical notebook for my internet based campaigns too. For in person games, I'm generally speaking just having a couple of tabs open in my browser and using ctrl+f to quickly find what I'm looking for. [CTRL+F will open a search box in most internet browsers, you then type in the phrase you're looking for and it'll give you the results and a quick way to get there.
I'm not saying what you're asking for isn't reasonable, just that there are a multitude of ways to achieve the same goal here.
