Thanks for taking a moment to stop by. I’m currently working on a set of DM tools designed to make campaign creation and live session management faster and easier for Dungeon Masters.
So far, I’ve built two tools (in Beta):
A Monster Generator that creates stat blocks
A Merchant Generator that outputs inventories for shops
My goal is to expand this into a full toolkit of practical utilities that actually help in the moment, whether you're prepping a world or reacting to a curveball from players at the table.
What I’d love to hear from you is:
What are your biggest pain points as a DM?
What slows you down or causes stress during prep or live play?
Are there any tools you wish existed?
Are there any tools that exist but wish were better?
For example, when players enter a town and want to go shopping, they often ask:
“What kind of store is this?” “Who runs it?” “What do they sell?” “Can I haggle?”
Most DMs don’t have every store and shopkeeper fully fleshed out because it’s a time consuming process. That’s the kind of gap I’m hoping to fill with new tools.
I’d really appreciate any ideas, annoyances, or wish list features you’d be willing to share. Even small frustrations help shape useful tools.
My biggest pain point would probably be having to spend hours leafing through books like the Monster Manual and or Dm’s Guide, etc, just looking for a certain type of monster that fits the theme of the game. Also, its would be amazing to have a sort of compendium of information that is not strewn across multiple books and webpages. This probably slows down my campaign creation the most.
An organization tool would be very nice for getting all of my notes, photos, lists, spreadsheets, etc together and in one place with a sort of easy access tool for quickly and efficiently finding information and key aspects of my game, because that would greatly speed things up and allow for more game time and less “um… just wait a sec… where on earth did I put this?” Moments.
the merchant generator sounds amazing!! Where do you access it?

I have traversed all the outer planes- I have traversed all the inner planes- now I travel to the land of earth to ride an airplane.

If you need lore, spells, heaps of information, come my way!!

I bought some physical books when I got started, but I quickly realized that buying the digital books and using this site's lists and filters makes finding monsters, magic items, etc., MUCH easier.

Thank you for your response.
That seems like a tall order but I can see how searching for specific information can be daunting with the amount of content that is out there.
You might be interested in a program called Campfire. It has a lot of wonderful built in tools to help with story writing and planning.
