First time poster of the forums looking for some advice for a homebrew campaign that I'm running.
I'm planning a big twist shortly in the story to introduce characters that are based on (Basically ripped from) the Seven Deadly Sins anime.
These will be quite integral to the plot so I'm making full blown character sheets on D&D beyond for them but I was looking for advice on which classes, abilities and maybe multi-classing would bring me the closest.
So far my rough ideas are:
Escanor = Paladin
Diane = Fighter
Merlin = Sorcerer
King = Wizard
Ban = Monk
Meliodas = Barbarian (Mainly because of his rage moments)
Gowther = Ranger
I haven't thought about what's paths to put them all down but I thought I would give the forums a shot as I'm still quite new to D&D and very new to DMing
I noticed this thread in another forum - unless it was moved here by you or someone else, I’m pretty sure it’s against the rules to post the same thread multiple times.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?

I actually did something similar to this, except I didn't define them into classes. I felt that was almost a disservice to limit them by the class options. For example, Meliodas's rage moments I wouldn't exactly define as a barbarian rage, ban's immortality is not in game and would have to be homebrewed. And Gowther being a ranger is 100% way off base in my opinion. A ranger is all about favored enemies and favored terrain, when Gowther is much more of a magic user in my opinion. While King uses some magic, I think he has a lot more physical options, as a wizard that doesn't quite fit. Maybe a pact of the blade warlock or something.
Here's the notes I have. The only part of this that we actually got to was the Ban (I changed the names) had interacted with them. Introducing himself as one of the bad guys, but was super cool and casual about it (because he's immortal) lol but here are my notes, which is basically just a list of their powers. Everything else was how they interacted with the character's backstories:
Meliodas:
The actual son of Asmodeus
Full Counter: He sends back projectiles and spells.
Assault Mode: Massive increase in Physical capabilities in power and black markings overtake him.
Dragon Handle, a broken sword
Gowther:
Emotionless and monotone.
Invasion: Entrap his opponents within their own memories and read minds. Permanent Dream Spell?
Transformation: Change appearance
Herritt: Twin bow made of energy
Balor’s Magical Eye can read power levels
Diane:
Skiddish and girly
Immense Strength
Enhance Speed
Immense Endurance
Enhanced Durability
Creation: Manipulate Earth
Gideon: War Hammer
King:
Immense Speed
Enhanced Durability
Immense Endurance
Disaster: Control Life/Death at a molecular level, flora - Power word: Kill?
Levitation
Transformation
Heart Reading
Chastiefol, shape changing spear
Escanor:
Prideful
He is a different size every time they find him depending on the time of day.
Sunshine: Midnight he is at his weakest, Noon he is at his strongest
Ban:
Extremely cocky and lackadaisical
Immortality
Snatch: Being able to “Rob” things, including the organs of the players
Three-section Staff
Rapier
Merlin:
No caring for anyone.
Infinity: Stop Time
Absolute Cancel: Erase spells from existence - Counterspell at will?
Location: Find person
Perfect cube, a cage that no one can move from - Otiluke's Sphere, maybe powered up
This is genius. But I think you should take this one step further and create your own rpg themed around it and send it to Netflix executive staff so they can publish a new RPG. And maybe one day Critical Role will do a one shot campaign of Seven Deadly Sins. Lol. Sounds cool to me.
I would like to point out that Merlin's ability infinity is not stopping time. Infinity Is her magic ability were she only has to cast the spell once and it goes on forever until she stops it. Stop time was just a spell she learned that she never stopped. Other than that great work.

Oh, right sorry didn't realise I'll delete this one. Thanks for the heads up :)
You wouldn't happen to have any of your notes on this would you? Just trying to gather as much advice and info as possible to make them the best I can
