Hi! I'm back to DM-ing D&D for the first time in 25 years, as quarantine has encouraged me to introduce it to my kids. They love it! We are about to finish Dragon of Icespire Peak and I'm going to continue with the adventures in Leilon (Storm Lord's Wrath, Sleeping Dragon's Wake, Divine Contention).
My challenge is Leilon. The way it's described, the town slowly grows as the PCs finish quests and level up, but they have immense potential to help build up the town as they see fit. Given that, is there any software or tool that would allow me to create a digital map of Leilon that I could print and use for the campaign that would allow them to build a blacksmith's shop here, a market there, a stable over there, etc.? The maps in the adventure are too small to be useful for that, I'm afraid. It would be amazing of course if someone has already created this tool.
The site and forum has been hugely beneficial as I've tried to get back into the swing. I had never played in a Forgotten Realms setting before - back in my day it was all Dragonlance and Greyhawk - so it's been a learning curve! Cheers!
There are virtual table top tools that you may find handy. Some also have maps made by others which you can import (or you can use to create your own).
Disclaimer: I am terrible at using all of the various tools like this and am still working on this digital transition.

Thanks! These seem seriously complex to use, but I'll check it out!
