On D&D Beyond, there are player maps in the Dungeon of the Mad Mage. However, those maps provide the location of all the secret rooms in the dungeon, which I certainly don't want my players to see.
Why do the player maps give the location for those secret rooms???
I do see one that was missed on level 7, but all the others are hidden. (Up to level 15, at least, where I stopped looking.)
There are some maps that do this, such as Forge of Fury. DnDBeyond uses the official maps given to them by WoTC. Player maps that have locations revealed are misses by the map designer and WoTC editors. DnDBeyond can't change them unless WoTC re-does the map and updates it like an errata.
Yeah, that annoyes me as well. I've bought excellent maps from both Micke Schley's and Jared Blando, but I don't like giving them to players because I want the search for secrets to be a fun surprise for players as well as characters.

Thanks very much!
