Currently my group is stuck in the Feywild and are attending a Festival in their next game. The festival is put together by all the different groups when the seasons change and they agree not to attack eachother. I have a few things for them to do and wanted to know what you guys think.
So far I have
Shops
Smiths for weapons and armor
Archery If a party member wins they get 1 D 10 magic arrows
Fighting Pit If a party member wins they 2,000 gold and a str boosting item
Fortune Teller would give a party member useful advice about one of the upcoming battles
Unicorn and Wyvern races If party member wins they get a random magic item from a D100 roll
I think it needs more for them to do but I can't think of anything else.
Face painting booth that gives a player a temporary perk of the animal they get a face painting of.
A "greased pig wrestle" where a bunch of people try to catch a greased pig. It turns out the pig is actually a polymorphed fae that will grant a reward of some kind to the person who catches it.
Some sort of Mychonid dancing circle that, if participated in, causes trippy hallucinations and maybe some insight into an issue. If multiple players participate, the communal psychic bond causes them to learn a secret about on another.

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
I was gonna suggest a type of dancing circle as well.
Also, long distance spitting. It's a Monkey's Island reference. Have some silly competitions have no reward other than bragging rights. Maybe in a bar twelve sessions from now someone will recognize the legendary loogist.
A contest of entertainment: Either a traditional battle of the bards set up or perhaps a Cantrip contest- players can enter against NPCs in a cantrips-only contest to see who has the most entertaining performance.

A drinking contest! And the absinthe they drink will have all kinds of fun side effects...
