So I am trying to create a feat where a player can choose to gain proficiency in a few specific feats. There doesn't seem to be an obvious way to do this. Making it so it gives you a proficiency is straight forward, but I don't want it to automatically give you a proficiency. I want it give you options for what you want to have proficiency in similar to Skill Expert. I see there is an ability to add feat options, however these don't seen able to add any actual mechanic change to a character, just give actions?
Anyway to feasibly do this? Or am I just going to have to force it in a character?

You could use the “Choose a Skill” subtype and let them pick any skill they don’t have. But that’s about it.
