Hey! Trying to add a subclass action that has a secondary effect of dealing piercing damage equal to your proficiency bonus, but it doesn’t seem to be scaling. What I‘ve currently done is have the action start at 2 piercing damage, but added level overrides at levels 5, 9, 13, and 17 to make it do 3, 4, 5, and 6 piercing damage respectively. However, the damage is locked at 2. Is there any way to fix this?
Bringing this one up again cus it’s still an issue
Hiya! So I've looked through the forum and followed the steps, but I'm not able to do what I want with a Species Variant I'm making.
I'm trying to make the base Dexterity Ability Score, to be 16 after "becoming" the Wereowl Variant Human, (changing the Species), so overriding the original since they contracted the Lycanthropy Curse as a Variant Human. As you'll see below, it's not working, even though I think I followed the steps correctly? I've saved at all levels/steps, waited (even overnight one time just in case), went up and down in class levels, and nothing. It worked at one point for one character, but not for another; although from what I can tell, it was originally set as a Bonus +1 to all abilities, which is not what I want. The third image is what I put under the "Species Option Trait."
So, what I'm essentially trying to do is hardbake the Wereraven's PC Dexterity base Ability Score (increase) into the homebrew Species as there will be other options
ETA: The character in the second image also seems to have the old version of the species even after I've updated it.
I have a species/ancestry trait that gives the player proficiency in certain skill(s), but if their proficient in said skill(s), they're given that chosen skill(s) Expertise. How should I do it? In the Modifier section of the trait, I just Modifier Type: Proficiency, Modifier Subtype: [SKILL OF CHOICE], but all add another Modifier for Expertise of the corresponding skill. But wouldn't it give both the Proficiency and Expertise at the same time? I'm just learning how this works. That's all

Yeah still not making a clickable for the rolls. The auto tool and your post. Not sure what is going on I put it in the action tab like the guide said. I used your code and still no clickable button/link
