My DM is attempting to import a modified Mythic Path system into 5e. I'm trying to bring this into D&D Beyond by creating homebrew feats that grant various abilities: advantages to death saves, bonuses to initiative, etc. One of the paradigms I'm having a difficult time adapting is a new resource pool that can be accessed in various ways. Examples:
Expend one use of mythic power to roll 1d4 and add it to any d20 roll (no action).
Use a bonus action to expend one use of mythic power per spell level to cast any spell you have in your spellbook with a casting time of “action” or “bonus action”.
Use an action to expend one use of mythic power to give an ally within 30 feet a 2nd action on their next turn.
You are granted the ability to use your mythic power to cast spells from the Knowledge domain. To do so, expend a number of mythic power uses equal to the level of the spell being cast. Unless you have alternative access to the spell, you cannot use a spell slot to cast spells granted this way. (The action depends on the spell's casting time, e.g., Spiritual Weapon would expend 2 mythic power uses and require a bonus action.)
Examining the Lucky feat, I see that feats can be given "actions" (abilities) that can be assigned an "activation type" (Action, Bonus Action, No Action, etc.), "reset type" (Long Rest, Short Rest, etc.), and "limited use" (number of uses per reset). I can't figure out how to have multiple "actions" share the same "limited uses" or expend more than one "limited use" at time.
Is this possible? If not, could I instead accomplish this by creating an item a la Staff of the Magi?
Create 1 action to track the limited uses and attach the rest of the actions to the same feat with no usage tracking whatsoever. When they tap the action they want to use, the sidebar will slide out and the name of the feat will be at the top. If they tap that, the sidebar will change to display the whole feat and the limited use tracker for the action with the limited uses attached to it will be displayed. They can track the uses there.
