This is a bit nitpicky, as I can get it to calculate the value properly in use, but it doesn't act/show stats like other such items in my inventory, so it's annoying the heck out of me.
We just went on a shopping spree in our campaign, and I was able to acquire a set of Mithral Splint armor with a +1 bonus.
Such an item doesn't exist in "manage inventory" so I went to create it, using "Mithral Splint" as the template. With the +1 bonus the AC should be 18. However, I can't get this number to change on the item. No matter what I've tried it always says the item's AC is 17.
In comparison, I have another piece of armor, Dragonguard, which is a +1 Breastplate. This item shows its AC as 15 so that +1 bonus is included in the info the item shows. This is how I want my custom item to behave, it should show "Armor Class: 18" instead of 17. So what am I missing in the create item process?
Note(s): The modifier Bonus-Armored Armor Class gets it to calculate the AC as 18 correctly, but I want it to show the AC as 18 like my other item instead of 17 with a +1 bonus in the calculation.
I have tried using several other types of modifier (Set-Armor Class, etc...) and this information has never changed.
Whenever you add anything to, change anything on, or remove anything from any homebrew, you MUST re-save the entire project using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under Basic Information or the system will not pick up your changes. After that it can sometimes take up to 20 minutes for those changes to push through to the character builder/sheet.

You’re using the wrong modifier.

Right on. I'll see if that works.
Is that how any "+" item functions? It's always a "Magic" bonus and not the specific stat you're also given the option to modify?
This did not work.
My bad, sorry ‘bout that. (I’ve been “enjoying” a holiday. 🍷😉)

No problem, glad you're "enjoying" it, haha.
This did the trick, though I swear I had tried it already, hah. Anyway, thank you very much!
