So I don't think the humble spear gets much love. Here's a feat for a budding Oberyn Martell, or just someone who enjoys poking things. Also finally a reason for the trident to exist. Any feedback? Is there too much advantage being granted?
Spear Master
You have mastered advanced spear-fighting techniques; agile attacks, long range spear hurling, and impaling and manoeuvring foes. You gain the following benefits:
After you successfully hit a creature with a spear, trident, lance or pike with a melee attack on your turn you may immediately use a bonus action to try to shove the same creature . You have advantage on the Strength (Athletics) check for that shove attempt, and can knock Prone or push the creature in any direction if successful.
Attacking at long range doesn't impose disadvantage on your attack rolls when throwing a spear, trident or javelin.
You can use Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls of attacks using a spear or javelin.
When attacking with a trident you have advantage on attack rolls against any creature that is more than half submerged in water (or another liquid).
My 2 cents: The shove idea is neat but needs to be reeled in; advantage is overkill, and I think it'd make more sense if you were limited to shoving aside. I like the sharpshooter aspect of the second point. The last point is downright silly to me.
It's a solid start, though keep in mind that there's already a spear mastery feat in Unearthed Arcana.

Yeah, I can tone down the granting of advantage. Sideways shove does make most sense, but it is hard to define the word sideways in rules. The only silly direction for the shove to work is towards yourself, and that is only applicable pike users so I'm not that concerned.
In what way do you think the last point is silly? Should tridents not be differentiated from spears in any way? Is underwater or water-heavy combat a bad way to make that difference? Or is it too OP? I want to make a distinction to allow a rule to reward using a trident (note that this feat also powers up the spear in a way that it doesn't the trident) and the only semi-real world feature of tridents I could find is that they are actually quite good for fishing. Perhaps something to link it to the net for that classic gladiator feel? Some minor bonus against restrained or submerged creatures?
I've read the UA feat and find it a bit restrictive to just the spear. One thing I like about Polearm mastery is that it applies a bit differently to halberds/glaives, pikes and quarterstaves. Layering that feat with this one makes you a bit of a pike master.

Oops, didn't see the post above. I'm a big fan of the UA feat.
