Alright, so I've made a slew of spells that buff weapon attacks of you or one touched target for a duration. All first level, all mid damage, all with a minor benefit (fire lights things on fire, radiant blinds for 1 turn on a failed con save, poison poisons for 1 minute) and all fixed duration (not concentration) of 2 minutes. Each buffs up by 1d6/8 (depending on whether its secondary bonus is worth dropping die size by 1 or not), and each has stack potential that I am painfully aware of, but will not undue for many reasons (among which being that I like my players to feel useful in a fight, unlike WoTC).
My issue is that, in the spell builder, I cannot build a weaker (and I mean much weaker statistically, granting 1d6/1d4 as a 2nd level spell with the same effects) variant of any of these that just applies to ANY weapon attack (melee or ranged) and meaningfully lists its numbers on your options. Does anybody know where I might be able to request such a mechanic be employed? Just adding a melee-and-ranged option for "part of a weapon attack" spells and allowing it to populate to both types of weapons.
Additionally, what about a spell that only affects unarmed attacks? Ever consider that? That'd be super easy to code, too.
So, let's say I want to create the following spell:
Radiant Assault. Spell Level: 3 School: Evocation Components: V/S/M (a handful of gold or silver powder worth 1 SP) Target: Self Cast Time: Bonus Action Duration: 4 Minutes Save: CON
As you cast this spell, the glittering powder in your palm swirls into a glowing ring around your hands, brilliant light surrounding both of your hands and any weapon you wield for the duration, casting 15 feet of bright light and an additional 15 feet of dim light. Any time you make a melee or ranged spell attack during this spell's duration, that attack inflicts an additional amount of radiant damage equal to 2d8 + your spellcasting ability modifier and causes any invisible creature it hits to become visible until the end of your next turn.
At Higher Levels. When cast using a spell slot of 4th or higher level, increase this spell's damage by 1d8 and its duration by 1 minute for each slot level above 3rd used.
... and I wanted it to populate, like green-flame blade, onto your attack options for both melee and ranged attacks in the actions section of your character sheet. Seems simple enough, right? Issue is, in the create a spell options, if you make the spell part of a weapon attack, it only applies to your melee or your ranged attacks, and does not automatically populate to both. However, in many other builder portions, "melee and ranged" and "melee or ranged" are listed options for these categories. So, my question is, while I can sufficiently create a work around and just expect people to reference their spells list to a) remember they have this spell prepared, and b) get the damage of it, I would love to see it able to just populate entries into the attacks section, and was wondering where I might pose such a request/suggestion.

I’m not entirely sure I understand what you’re trying to accomplish. Instead of describing what you want could you perhaps provide an example?

You can direct requests here: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/d-d-beyond-feedback).
I can tell you however that it’s not likely to happen. People have been making requests for updates to the homebrewer for years to no avail.
