I created a homebrew feat for spell points. In order to ensure this doesn't break on multi-classing, and to avoid creating a new feat for each type of caster you may be (full, half, 3/4) I decide to make an option for each level and make each option have their own Limited Use Action. Not ideal in that the feat likely doesn't "remember" spent spell points when selecting a new level on level-up, but that's life. Unfortunately the spell point increase doesn't seem to follow a formula I can try to configure in the feat itself.
When I pulled the feat into a character sheet to test it, selecting "Level 1", I saw the "Spell Points" Limited Use in my Actions tab. Awesome. But when I tried any level from the feat dropdown outside of Level 1, the feat tab had the limited use element, but the Actions tab did not.
I noticed quite a few posts about server caching, so I called it a night and checked in on it today. Been about 21-22 hours. No dice, I still only see the Actions tab populate when I select "Level 1" from the dropdown.
So I created a new feat, copied on the old feat, and tried again. I only populated the dropdown actions for the Level 1 and Level 2 (out of laziness). No dice, now not even Level 1 would populate my Actions tab. So I added an action outside of the options section. Still nothing in the Actions tab.
I can't edit the "old" feat, because I published it for the sake of this thread (see bottom of post). But the copy feat, I basically just do:
______
____
_____
____
___
A tedious process, but straightforward, and shouldn't have any issues? I can't show the "old" feat level 1 vs level 2, given I published it and can't edit it anymore. But I went into it before publishing and couldn't find any differences.
I added the "old" feat and the "new" feat to a new character, www.dndbeyond.com/characters/120861186/1DEvAp and seemingly no dice. The "Level 1" dropdown would still populate the "Actions" tab, if I selected it, but nothing else.
First off, none of us can view the guts of your feat, so publishing it was pointless, especially given as how you posted screenshots for us to see. The good news is that since it doesn’t work correctly, you have a legitimate reason to report it, so there’s a potential for the mods to un-publish it. If they do you’ll be able to edit it again.
You need to set an Activation Type for the Action to get it to display on your Actions tab.
Ah, setting the type does do the trick. I must have selected it by accident in my "Level 1" example I mentioned, as when I look at it under a character sheet it says "Special". And by publishing it I removed my ability to continue comparing the form to my "new" feat, thus shooting myself in the foot.

I also published the feat for the sake of it being viewable, https://www.dndbeyond.com/feats/1624141-variant-rule-spell-points
(I have also learned the hard lesson that copying a feat does not copy the actions assigned to the 17 options...)
